    We have a guy in our league thwt plays unconventionally, but even more so than this guy with his head up. He stands weird, aligns miles off centre, addresses the cue ball and cues up to the side of everything, but knocks in centuries. If itmworksmit works as long as you can repeat it! I have a lovely technique, as I've been told many times, but I can't repeat it enough to ever become really good. I'm the regular 40/50 in practice kind of guy, with into the 60s and stuff a bit. But in matches, 30s come but not often enough. I'll knock in 40 plus in practice, miss once, then knock in another 40 plus next shot. Its eliminating the bad shot where repeating good tecnique fails, but that is more to do with my mind overthinking and telling my technique it needs to do this and this and this, and then it falls apart! I'd love to pot like this guy. Just get down, hit it, and in it goes! Side note: I hope Stephen comes back into proper competition soon.

    • @woudwilder8324
      @woudwilder8324 6 років тому

      No, he has to pay for his mistake to the full extend of it. If it would be up to me, he would be even banned for life to set an example. The fact that his cue action is a s smooth as silk doesn't make any difference and is completely irrelevant.

      @@woudwilder8324 12 years is to much. they basically ripped him of his career, a 2 or 3 year would of been fine. l also agree with some other comments, 12 years absolutely too much and he should have got no more than 5 years max. look at John Higgins, he got completely off the hook. Ok might have been slightly different circumstances but he was still going to go along with it for 350,000 pounds and he walked free. Totally unfair. No one really gives a shit, not even prof snooker players. You can set an example but don't ruins a whole man's career.

    Stephen Lee must be the only professional player I've seen who gets out of breath when playing but he's a great player though.
    The other bloke made some nice individual pots but just had poor cue ball control for positioning and break building. He would probably pot some of the ones he missed though if he actually crouched down a bit more and was looking down the line of his cue at the shots.
