I've watched several people do run throughs on this game and yours is the only one where I've actually learned how to play this game and if I might even like it. THANK YOU!
Chiming in here again to say that I really like the format of your playthrough. It's very enjoyable with the sound effects and the camera/edit work is wonderful.
Thanks so much Dean, means a lot! I probably put in double editing time with this playthrough, but felt like it was worth it due to the game being more of a story than other games. Glad that you appreciate it, makes it worth it!!
@@OneStopCoopShop thank you! What are your thoughts playing 2 characters controlled by a couple each (two characters controlled by 2 players each character)? Because this have works better with 2 players on the board.
The balance card to the sub says on the bottom, every involved character moves to the next tile The graveyard pray action says to resolve 666 before applying the effects of the pray
one of the best playthroughs i have ever seen! a really good job well done with the video and all. really interested to continue watching but i dont wanna spoil myself when the game comes... such a dilemma!!
I’ve got the second printing backed on Kickstarter so I’m not going to watch past this video but this looks so incredible! Just so incredibly much going on in this game. Thanks for the videos, Colin!
One Stop Co-op Shop heh...my number 3? I’ve fallen off the wagon pretty hard I’m afraid! When Joan of Arc comes around I’ll have 5 active Kickstarters.
One Stop Co-op Shop Sorry for the late response, I’ve been busy. I’m excited for the play though and the expansion isn’t required, but it’s a great expansion. If you need any help with the bored game, or anything with it, you can ask me. =)
Hi Colin, I would like to watch this entire play through's and join in but am about to start my first adventure so I don't want any spoilers. Just watched some of this just to get an idea of how it works. Shame as would have really liked to have joined in and you do such fab play through's. Hope that spider bite doesn't come to effect you later on, just thought, hmmm that sounds too good to be true just banish the card there must be some reason.
totally get this! I decided to do with spoilers because that is what I got as feedback, but thanks for watching a part of this one and enjoy your own adventure!! Have you thought any more about your own channel? If you need any help or someone to bounce ideas off, let me know!!
When one takes an action with a staircase next to it, does another player have to move their figure to the same area as the active player, or can they help from far away, participating in the action but doing something else?
Looks like a cool game but is going for way too much on eBay and Amazon currently to warrant a purchase. Maybe in the future if they do another production run.
It costs 59$ for the classic edition on seriouspoulp website (3 curses, cardboard characters instead of plastic miniatures and no cardboard discard pile stand)
Thank you Jan! I was thinking that, my only issue was I was still having to draw action cards to build the items, that is why I didn't. I may need to re-think that though as I am sure I will need them soon. Thanks for the advice!!
This is the first video I've seen of this game, so I'm sorry if you've already explained this before. Is this game just a once-and-done game? Since it doesn't look like the game would have much in terms of replayability, re-exploring an island you've already seen before.
Really good question! Technically no it is not, as there are multiple curses that will bring you different things on the island, BUT everytime you play, you are showing yourself more of the secrets of the island. This means that there are spoilers in where to go for which curse etc. Does that make sense?
Having the 'new area' exploration cards, and activity 'result' cards being random can really change what your expedition can do, or which paths are doable. I'd say the replay value isn't too bad.
The card you revealed when you prayed said to shuffle the cards back in after resolving the 666 card and since the 666 card had a mandatory action it seems like you shuffled the discarded cards back in prematurely but I don't have the game so I could be wrong.
I'll be interested to see how you feel about the game if you end up playing all seven curses (not necessarily as videos) since a lot of the people I have talked to about this game had the same initial reaction as you but found the game somewhat stale by the 4th or 5th curse. Even though there is still the randomness of how the cards come out it's still the same cards you've been using since the beginning and it seems like much of the depth of the game comes from the experience of reading new cards rather than the game play mechanisms.
Now this is a very good point! I am not sure, I do want to see what the replayability of this game is. And this playthrough will not show that. I will make sure to let you know what I think after a few plays! Thanks for watching Trent!

So glad it helped Mark! Thank you for watching and commenting!

I'm impressed by how much this really feels like an 1980s or 1990s adventure game.
Going after the submarine definitely makes sense.
Agreed David, a very enjoyable experience so far. Got you on the sub!
Sound effects = AWESOME
It took me until the part with the crosses to figure out that this is set in the real (ish) world... I was like wait what 😂
Nice playthrough! Explore the sub. Can't wait to see how banished spider bite will hit back :)
Thanks Ints! Yeah that spider bite will probably haunt Keelan in the future.. Thanks for the suggestion!
This game looks incredible. I'm definitely gonna have to get in on the next Kickstarter.
It has been a blag so far Josh! Hope you get to enjoy it yourself soon!!
If you want to split and 2 of you go to another direction. How the Active player and actions go?
You decide!

Thanks made notes to both in the Klingon subtitles!!
Great playthrough! Definitely go for the submarine! :)
Thanks Juan and got you!!
Fantastic sound effects! Yep go for the sub, sound a hoot!
Thanks Steve, got you!!
I'm torn... I want this game but don't see me getting it anytime soon lol so I might as well watch, right?
one of the best playthroughs i have ever seen! a really good job well done with the video and all. really interested to continue watching but i dont wanna spoil myself when the game comes... such a dilemma!!
Thank you so much!! Glad you like it. Totally get it if you don't want to watch. . . Have fun with your own campaign!
Your enthusiasm and exclamations are delightful. :D
Glad you enjoyed them!!
Interesting! I wonder how much fun the second play through would be after dying early...
Yeah that has been the thing. But there are other curses too. And houserules are awesome hahaha!
No question, definitely explore the sub!
Got you Steve, thanks for the suggestion! Looks like this will be what is happening next!
I’ve got the second printing backed on Kickstarter so I’m not going to watch past this video but this looks so incredible! Just so incredibly much going on in this game. Thanks for the videos, Colin!
So glad you decided to back this one as your number 3!! You will not regret it. Thanks for watching this vid!!

Hahaha!! Close enough! :)
I winced at joyous banishing of Spider Bite.
Sorry!
Great stuff, Colin! I already played this curse myself and it really seems you can enjoy it a second time! Some major twists are clear though... :)
Thanks Markus!! Oh Oh does this mean YOU will do a playthrough, cause I would totally enjoy that!!
Awesome job. Really enjoyed that.
Thank you Doug, having a blast so far!
I would love to see you play the Fallout Board Game!!!
Y0LO Eclipse This is Mike. I did just secure a trade for it. But I guess I would still need the solo/coop expansion...

You can play solo without the expansion?
That is correct. The expansion adds more tiles, enemies, expanded scenarios, new characters, and cards/items.

Sorry can't remember I'd suggest asking on bgg!
@@OneStopCoopShop Thanks will do
Where do you got that animal sound effects? Sound awesome
Epidemic sounds!

It is SUPER expensive and they say this is it. . .so it might be hard to find!

So, so, so happy I didn't pay over $150 for this last year. Just got it for $50, core game. thanks for the video.
Nice!
You should build some stuff, you have stone and wood resource. And it frees up your hand. I like your playtrough, keep it up!
Thank you Jan! I was thinking that, my only issue was I was still having to draw action cards to build the items, that is why I didn't. I may need to re-think that though as I am sure I will need them soon. Thanks for the advice!!
I cringed a little when you decided not to try and fix the spider bite :)
Let the wounds fester haha!!!
So many actions! Sub is defs the way to go.
Awesome thanks for the suggestion!!
