I visited Elmina Castle in Ghana almost 11 years ago and I'll never forget the experience. I'm British and have Jamaican heritage. I felt sad, angry, broken but also felt so empowered. My ancestors were incredible. I have their strength in my blood. They went through that and then slavery and survived... I can do anything! ♥️

Seems like people have been complaining about waiters/waitresses attitude a lot when it comes to food ordering. It's about time restaurant managers give their workers good education . Is it just laziness? Don't just assume and replace a requested meal of a customer to one of your choice. What if that person is allergic to what was substituted? I'm so happy that you met Naomi Campbell, however, I'm so happy that you went to that castle. Thank you for sharing that part. It helped me to remember where I came from.

When you're travelling anywhere, just change your mentality and you won't get so stressed. I find the same thing when I travel back home but I have to realize we all travel for the different experiences whether it may be good or bad.

Denise why do u think they have to rush just like the U.S and U.K. That’s Africa they take there time and nothing wrong with it. U have to adjust to that, they don’t have to adjust. I get frustrated before when I go back home. But I realize I have to be patient and tolerant when am back home and am still learning. My opinion. They did u wrong tho with the Yam.😂

Lol so there’s some truth to the stereotypes between GH and Naija lol. SOME Naijas can be rude and the customer service is terrible and then SOME GH people are super laidback and to a Naija some would say slow lol but that’s because we can be aggressive 😩😩. PSA this is my opinion not fact. Thanks!
