Gotta give you a strong disagree with the throttle by wire. The reason the zx6r didn't go throttle by wire for so long is because they cater to stunters. Stunters need direct throttle because it is more direct then throttle by wire. R6's are good bikes, but I prefer the monster torque and sound of the R1
@@thegoldbarron9504 it is smoother because it is slower. The 0-10% on off throttle is usually a tune and emissions thing. The newest R1's have the same issue. It can and usually is completely tuned out. The reason racers use the throttle by wire is because that is the way traction control and the such works. It takes your throttle inputs as suggestions and gives you what it feels is the correct amount. There are still bikes to this day using cable throttle like the fz07… once again a very popular choice for stunters. Dunno why that could be. If you want a better direct comparison ride a tune fz07 and fz09 back to back and try to wheelie each one. The fz09 is easy to pull up because of its power, the 07 is way easier to do controlled wheelies because if it's cable actuated throttle. Throttle by wire is ... fluffy. Not as direct, despite what you say. My chr954rr was way more direct then either of my current gen R1's.
You don't have to, leave them if you want if you have all that setup with the stock setup. Often the actuator box fails and grinds because it has plastic gears so people just remove the cables.
I'd get a 2011+ GSXR if you are set on one. A well setup 08+ R6 is just as fast if not faster than a 11+ 750. GSXR 600/750 are really comfortable bikes, great brakes, plush suspension, easy to work on, good fairings. I prefer the looks of the R6. The clutches go out fast on the GSXRs, you gotta adjust the internal screws to have them last longer, lookup vid on this. I see people burn them out with only 6k on the bike. I personally don't trust Suzuki reliability as compared to Honda and even Yamaha. 06-07 GSXRs had terrible electrical issues. Newer ones were way more reliable. As far as riding fun the 2011-2023 GSXR 600-750 are really fun great bikes overall.
I love the R6 but I think the Danktona Sex75r is superior to all! Throttle by wire sucks as well as rider aides. Traction controll should always be in the throttle hand. And ABS sucks too! Today's bikes let people think that they are better rider's than they really are. Of course all of this is my opinion and to each their own. Good vid Bruddah, Stay safe out there!

I recently found out the 06-07 needs a valve adjustment very often. Getting rid of my 07 soon for 08+

Hello, you shouldve placed the shift/qs rod the other way so that way you dont have to drill.
