Thank you for sharing with us some of your personal collection! Keep up the hard work and thank you for your contributions to the best hobby in the world.
Thanks for posting Bry- really dig that rare Cool Cat cover! For me, on the Golden and silver age, if the cover can tell a story, that really speaks to me and something I can really appreciate.
I have one of those All Star Comics 18 that I found in our attic. It’s coverless but really nice. I sent in to get encapsulated because I like it so much
Interesting post Bry. Considering the amount of books you've bought in collections and have shown on your channel, I would have thought your collection would be massive. But, it's all good. I have only 38 slabbed books at this time, but roughly 5K raw books, the bulk of which are from the Marvel Silver age, which is the era I grew up in. I used to have close to 10K but I sold many years ago and I got what was a very acceptable price back then. Since then I've scaled back my buying to concentrate primarily only on Silver age books. For a short time I did buy into some DC books when Death of Supes was a thing and the Frank Miller/Dave Mazzuchelli Batman "Year one" arc and the "Hush" story arc. I sold a bunch of those on eBay and just kept what I felt were the grails of that period using the money I made to offset out of pocket expenses for books I truly wanted. Now, I read and curate my books and I'm into dry cleaning my vintage books for submission to CGC. I'll get a heat press shortly as well. It's a cool hobby and my huge amount of raw books is a result of not having CGC around for the bulk of the time I was actively collecting. So, once again, to each their own. Enjoy this fantastic hobby and know they are actually American folk art well worth the time to read, enjoy and collect. Best to all. Oh, and Make Mine Marvel!...Silver age that is.
@@BrysComics it's pretty solid but I did sell books years back that I may never have again. Unless, I win a lottery! The first five Hulk books for instance. Ah, well Take care.
Great stuff bro-thanks for sharing your PC comics! I love to hear others talk about their PC strategy. I have quite a number of favorite characters/franchises, so I have a lot more that I plan on not parting ways with. With 99% of my PC being raws, I’ve been taking advantage of the price drops and added graded editions of them as well! 😊
Such a cool concept. Hmm. I like the idea of maximizing my 50-100 favorite books! I love that I can focus on the goal, change the goal, fiddle with the details, and not just have a bunch of books in a box. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for sharing your collection and those books that hold value to you. I know you have seen so many books pass through your hands so seeing what you have decided to keep is pretty cool. Is tales to astonish 27 the highest value?
I’ve consolidated mine down. It’ll probably be in the same 50 range eventually. But I want focus on major first appearances, classic covers and some premier issues. Books I consider major investment type books.
It's cool to see wall books that are NOT the same old "usually suspects" that we see in a lot of videos or convention booths! Goes to show that we all have our own personal preference and priorities.
I love seeing the personal collections on UA-cam personalities and what/why they have collected said books. Side note, I think the audio is better on the new camera/the one you used to move around. Picture quality escapes me as far as comparisons. Thanks Bry!
Bry's Comics,do you know what the first silver age, bronze age and modern app of the Joker is? I really want those books but I don't know what issues to buy any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Bry’s Personal 😎 I feel similar to you man. I like to put up on my wall or whatever display as much as I can and only have 2-3 cases worth put aside. It’s tough to enjoy books in a box, but it’s pretty cool knowing you have one tho.
2 questions. 1... would you sell your 9.9 SIKTC LCSD? It's my favourite book. I have two solid copies already and I'm trying to trade for a signed one at the moment. 2... People always talk about the census when it comes to graded books. But does that include CGC, CBCS, PGX etc... because if people only look at the CGC census then they could be missing data on total copies available.
Bry, don’t let the market get you down. I know 2022 has been hard, and it’s scary selling off the PC. But you are skilled and successful and optimistic. You’ll be able to buy things back, upgrade, and keep moving forward. Problems at work are challenges to overcome. Problems at home are problems you can’t ignore. Keep the family first.
With your having those books hanging on the wall what do you do to protect them from UV light? Even the light in the room can do damage to them overtime
Thanks for another fun video Bry! I was wondering where your PC wound up after the big sell off.50 slabs is positively Spartan! My PC is >25,000 raw books (plus several hundred slabs that are ready to be sold once the market bottoms out). My goal was to collect complete runs of all Marvel superhero books that started in the silver age through the end of their first volume including annuals. I am now working on Marvel bronze and continuations of the Marvel silver age books that have survived into the modern day e.g. ASM, Iron Man, etc. Planning to shoot “cover crawl” videos for UA-cam and Instagram just for fun to showcase the collection. Who wants to see a complete run of ASM starting with issue 1 and ending at issue 700? Any takers?
Boy, I do love the old magazines with the painted covers. I posted on Instagram probably just last week about my love for Savage Sword of Conan #41 and my assertion that that Earl Norem cover might arguably be the greatest painted cover ever. But, holy cow, Deadly Hands, Hulk/Rampaging Hulk...all of them. Such epic eye appeal. If only it didn't take an actual literal year for them to get graded if likely send a bunch off. Enjoyable video.
With all the amazing books u had in your possession, I can’t believe this is what you have…. Love that u can part with books and hope to get it cheaper and a higher grade on the back end… balls of steel
Wow thanks for sharing your collection! It's really awesome! I collect mainly graded and raw comic books that are signed by the artists i adore. I am fine with getting them at low grades, makes it affordable for me to purchase and enjoy those books. The titles I collect are mostly Spider-man and i think i only own around 10 slabs but i am v satisfied with them :)
Just restarted collecting after a 20 year hiatus and I'm having a blast. Makes me feel like a kid again. I'm also more appreciative of the art now. I'd rather look at a Buscema cover than many modern contemporary pieces. I mean c'mon, Surfer 4 is fire!
To keep a slab. It has to mean something to me. I only have like 10 that I have and will never sell, but have had dozens more that eventually get flipped
Nice to share your collection. I am on the other end of the spectrum being a completist. Like you said it is a bummer not to be able to see all my children since they are boxed.
I can love a book just based on cover art alone, without ever even reading them. I enjoyed the tour on your wall, Bry. Especially the really old ones.
Thanks for showing your collection Bry. It was great to get a closer look at your wall books. Thanks.
My wife and I love watching you together!! You're knowledge on comic's is unmatched. Keep up the great video content.
Thank you!!
Thank you for sharing with us some of your personal collection! Keep up the hard work and thank you for your contributions to the best hobby in the world.
Thanks for the tour! Nice to hear the back stories of why, where and how much lol
Thanks for sharing Bry! Always love to see a behind the scenes and what others collect and love. Great collection!
Killer collection! Man, that’s a lot to be proud of. Nothing wrong with a good old “wall hanger” book. They really make the room.
Iron Fist will have his day on the sun. One of my favourite characters in comics!
I sent in to get encapsulated because I like it so much
The covers are one factor i look for in graded comics. Keys and grails are cool, but I love looking at the art. Nice collection!!!!

Definitely a cool collection. Thanks for sharing
Awesome collection, so great to see it close-up!
That's an awesome collection! I've enjoyed seeing the wall change over the past couple of years.
Such a cool concept. Hmm. I like the idea of maximizing my 50-100 favorite books! I love that I can focus on the goal, change the goal, fiddle with the details, and not just have a bunch of books in a box. Thanks for the videos.
Hey man, what you still have in your collection is still dope. I dig it, especially those SIKTC books.
Strange Tales #4 is definitely my fave. I didn't know that was his first work!
Hey bry could you let us know where you got the rails to hang up the books? The clear j hooks? Thanks!
Amazon J channels
Thanks for sharing your collection and those books that hold value to you. I know you have seen so many books pass through your hands so seeing what you have decided to keep is pretty cool. Is tales to astonish 27 the highest value?
Yeah at this point 👍
I’m having a blast getting back into collecting; replacing the Killraven and Prez I had when I was a kid. Thanks for giving us a tour of your books.
Very cool books in your collection!! Thanks for sharing!
Those SIKTC are awesome. The 9.9 is amazing.
Great video as always loved seeing your collection

Multiple small acrylic j channels from amazon
What's the name of those clear wall shelves you're using and where did your get them form? Nice books bro
That Lee InHyuk White Fox is soooooo good!
Great range of books. That iron 54 is such a great cover.
I’m jealous of your collection! I’ve trimmers my down a bit recently
I’ve consolidated mine down. It’ll probably be in the same 50 range eventually. But I want focus on major first appearances, classic covers and some premier issues. Books I consider major investment type books.
Great video. I like the 50 CGC PC number..... I might have to adopt that 👍
amazing collection!

Thanks for showing the collection looks great
Thanks for the tour.
With your having those books hanging on the wall what do you do to protect them from UV light? Even the light in the room can do damage to them overtime
There’s no natural light and the rest are LED’s with insignificant amount of UV
great pc books. thank you for sharing.

Awesome PC, have not seen most of those books out in the wild.
Love that Stan Lee statue!

Look up Lucio Parrillo covers at Dynamite comics…
The whole collection is awesome but those We Live zombie sketches are amazing. Not too many people can say they have something like that.
Bry, get channel. Great Whatnot auction, got my book and it was packaged great and got it less than a week. Keep up the great work!
Is there any online group chats out there to ask questions about l comics and show personal collections ect,??

I’ve 20,000 in my collection. I may slow down this year though as I’ve been buying keys and back issues these last few years.
Great collection
Love seeing your collection! Epic stuff - Matthew Manos

I do like the way you made your wall. To be honest I am going to copy it exactly XD
Go for it!
Very cool…I really like the fact of having your exclusive up there. They mean something to you also!!!
Such a fire collection!
Loving the new camera quality. Dont blame you for not selling these books right now. 🔥
Thanks brotha!
Very eclectic collection! I like the only 50 slabs mandate.
New year, new collection! Let’s go homie!
Thanks for sharing your PC!
I'm surprised the black knight comic wasn't on the wall is it still a keeper.
She flew the coop a while back…I will likely buy back in
Braj!! I been looking for the first appearance of squirrel girl.. how much you want?
I haven’t looked at prices in a while but I’ll
Post it next week on the site
Couldn’t pass up that Batman statue either. And I was happy to get the 9.8 on the detective comics 1000 that inspired it. Such a beautiful statue.
Pretty , pretty .. pretty good 👍
Amazing Collection 🔥🔥🔥
That’s a beautiful slab to win!
Awesome collection
Love That MP #15! I have an 8.5 but no sig...I wish I could cut down to 50. I'm at around 10k lol. Thanks!
Love the comics
Nice to share your collection. I am on the other end of the spectrum being a completist. Like you said it is a bummer not to be able to see all my children since they are boxed.
You could still create a 'wall' of selected issues.
Love it, only 50 books , that sounds rough.
Wall is amazing and impressive
the maestro looks great
