Please advise how to physically connect between an NVR and IP Intercom. Do they get connect through a separate switch or a network cable between the IP intercom switch and an NVR channel?

Yes, you can. Only need to change compression to h.264

I have Tapo C210 and it always says device offline despite I configured Tapo with account (user/pass). Same for non Dahua NVR, says offline
