I would have liked to have heard the engine sound etc within the car, not irritating music
Interesting video, but spolied by the music - why??? Who needs music when you're trying to listen to the words?
To go all that way with the design and looks improvements and not have a 60/40 split in the rear bench for the UK is just nuts.
It's not crazy, the back seat couldn't be split because the 1.83 kwh battery is under it!
@ivanciuciulian2224 The battery is under the boot floor. The rear seat folds, but in one complete section. Folding 60/40 isn't impacted by a fairly small battery under the boot floor, HOWEVER, having the seat fold as one complete section is slightly cheaper to manufacture, and how many people really fold just part of the seat anyway in real life?
Does it fold 60/40 in other markets?

In several other videos I saw gaps in the back of the rear bench, which were positioned in such a way that splitting it would be possible at some point...
Either it will be an option, or it will get implemented in a later model rework
Nice music I can almost hear what you are saying.
No 60/40 split is major downside. meant you can carry luggage and also then an extra passenger to the airport ! I do that a lot & carrying an extra person ( legally !) sorry matey MG lost a sale just for that :((( lovely reVamped car Car looks so nice and lov mpg. figures. Yaris is over rated. Why on earth don't we go to full Series hybrids and get 280 MPG???

I don’t get the 3 gears ? Surely it’ll be holding the revs high ?
Doesn't need anymore, it's for economy Toyota uses the CVT so more gears isn't necessary
I've just test driven one of these and the best way I can think to describe it is that the three gears are like 4th, 5th and 6th. Where you would need the first three, the electric motor covers it. It does rev high when the engine comes in and you're flooring it, but when driving normally, it's very quiet.

Great car….is the gearbox a CVT..? how is each power train linked to gearbox..? Twin clutch or torque converter..? Please 😊
It seems to be a 3-speed torque converter. But according to other videos, it works better than it sounds, which is good to hear

Agreed. It removes some of the practicality, and is a thoughtless omission.....
Just watch a view of this car from a dealer in northern Ireland it had a 60/40 split rear seat, go figure

Steering wheel still doesn’t adjust for reach?? That’s ridiculous - that and the rear seat are just baffling omissions that price can’t justify - these things have been on dirt cheap Hyundais and Kia’s for years! For this sort of car just go to Dacia
Also - this guy? Wonder what MG will think about his review as an MG dealer. “To compare this car to the old MG3 would be offensive”??
The ‘cheapest car in its class’ is slightly misleading since you can buy a top spec Sandero for less. Choose manual (as most will) and it’s considerably less. What’s the USP? It’s a hybrid - most people couldn’t care less - you still get 50mpg in the Sandero. You can buy from Peugeot and Citroen for less too. Given it’s Chinese and made in china the price is taking the proverbial
