I honestly love this idea. This might work wonders for my ADHD because I always start books and can't seem to finish them. I either read one all in one sitting or start one and take months to get through it, so this might help me get more reading in.
I've been reading autobiographies I have no desire to read anything else lol im going through a slump once again but I love your videos no matter what whether you fall asleep or not but I get the frustration ....thank you again for another great video....we are currently getting a snow storm so I'm gonna try to find a book to cozy up with but nothing is calling out lol
I loved this video! I am only a few minutes in bit I love your personality. This is the first time I'm watching a video from you but you seem like a very good friend of mine with the way you're talking etc. it really makes it so cozy to watch you. Thank you :)
I read Percy Jackson and Harry Potter for the first time last year. I grew up with the Harry Potter movies being popular and I later found Percy through those movies. So these series had been on my raydar for years. I kind of grew more up around Harry Potter and so that feels nostalgic,. While Percy felt like a one and done thing, because they didn't give that same nostalgia
@@MaddysLibrary I didn't love Harry Potter as the movies gave little me nightmares. So took me a long time to love it and watch it, and then read it. But I love it now 🤣
I don't get how Red Rising needs brain power. I think the rest of the series may need it because it involves more politics and the Shadow Hunter series is so good. I just finished The Infernal Devices and going to be finishing The Mortal Instrument series next since I am going based on the author's recommendation on how to read the series.
I also don’t know why people say that about red rising… I found it the first one easier to read than most fantasies. I also plan on reading the first 3 mortal instruments and then going to the infernal devices. I loved city of bones so much I can’t wait to continue!
I like this concept! It's a bit sad how often we pick up our phones. I think balancing it out with reading is great 😃
I agree!
Can u pls do a challenge to read as long as your screen time is?
I want to do this but I also am afraid I can’t stay awake long enough to do it🤣 but hopefully one day!

You should try it! I hope it helps☺️
Great Video... I hope to see the finished blanket 🤗
Thank you!! I’ve been keeping up with the blanket so far. Hopefully I finish it🤞🏻

@@MaddysLibraryExcited to see. The series is so good but it just takes a long time to get through them all.
I found The Hobbit in a little free library, I'm not even excited to read it
Oh no I’m sure I made you even less excited🤣 I didn’t realize but a lot of my friends also have no interest in it
@@MaddysLibrary I might try it but it's not high on my list. I can always put them in another little free library and then some
@@dianaisme try the audiobook with it, it helped me get through it!
@@Alliappalachian I will try that 👌 Thank u
Is picking up your phone a lot a bad Hobbit? Best I could come up with sorry.
Loved this video, and totally think that reading via the audiobook is not cheating! 🫶🏻
