Im contemplating starting a court of mist and fury bcs i was excited for the series and high expectations but when I read the book 1 omg it put me in reading slump for a month and it took my all to complete book 1 I hated it I'm so skeptical abt book 2

My two favorite books of the year are: When in Rome by Sarah Adams and Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. Two of my least favorite books of the year are: God of the Woods by Liz Moore and The Tale of Kore by Amanda L. Rautio.

This is a shock gallant and as good as dead were both five stars for me. I understand how you and others don’t like them but I really did. Don’t let these keep you from reading the authors other works. They are good as well.

I love the invisible life of addie LaRue as well. I read it last year. It was a five star for me. It was in my top five books of 2023 as well.

I loved project Hail Mary and it was five stars for me too. Also the first three red risings are amazing for me too. The first and third ones are five stars while the second one is four stars.

I actually don't like reading books from the same series too close to each other. One a year per series is a good pace for me. Sometimes two, with a good amount of months in-between

If you want a great Stephen king book I would read the eyes of the dragon. It’s a YA fantasy book that is so good! It’s different from all his others and I loved it so much. I think you’ll definitely like it.

You should skip spin the dawn. I did not like that book much at all. I rated it a low 3 star. It was boring poorly written. It had way too much telling and not enough showing. The other duology set in the same world starting with Six Crimson Cranes is way better. I rated that five stars. You should read this duology and skip the Spin the Dawn duology.

These violent delights is an amazing duology. I highly suggest you read them! There is also a spin-off series as well! You also really need to read Assistant to the Villain. It is one of my top books I read this year. Such a funny easy fantasy book. I really hope you read it soon and like it. The renegades trilogy is also very good! I loved it so much! I can’t wait for you to read that series as well! You also have to read murder your employer soon! I read that book this year and rated it 5 stars! It is my favorite mystery book besides the good girls guide to murder series and I really hope you like it too.
