Hi Christy! omg, I only hope the numbers are down because people are spending their time packing in the last of summer! I want to see you keep bringing your adorable content and your soothing voice talking to us❤ I do have to say the set with the critters reading is one of my favs, but because OF THAT LITTLE MOLE WITH THE GLASSES!that kills me! I love the Hello Bluebird sets that have a garden mole and a Mama Elephant set that has the mole with glasses in the pinata/fiesta set(can't remember the set names right now!). I love critters but the moles seem to have my heart! Sorry for going on. I adore you and your beautiful creative mind. Hi Christy, I knew you would be so excited for The Little Woodland Library set! I loved your enthusiasm when you were talking about it. Maybe you can take some new pictures of your Little Free Library at work and include those in a future video when you use this set. I'm sorry to hear that your revenue has dropped so much. I would be very sad if you left You Tube. I do try to watch all of your videos using Lawn Fawn products, but admit I'm hit or miss depending on how busy I am on some of the other ones. I also try to let some of the ads play all the way through as I've heard that can help the revenue stream. Have an amazing trip and I look forward to seeing what you create with these new products.
Yeah, I looked back through my photos but I didn’t have any saved anymore! I’ve been clearing out my phone as much as possible for my upcoming trip and I’ve been deleting old pictures. I’ll have to take some new ones. I’ve already filmed two videos using the Little Woodland Library set this week and those are already uploaded and scheduled to UA-cam so I can’t insert photos, but maybe I can share them on my community tab or something. It’s kind of cool to see how all our different personalities and artistic styles came together.💗

Christy I have placed at least 4 orders with lawn fawn and used your affiliate link since spring. I had a very similar haul as you for this release and I used your link via UA-cam. Do I need to use a link from your blog instead? It is a little troubling that the link does not seem to be giving you the kickback. Also, I have heard from other UA-camrs that UA-cam has implemented some new restrictions/changes and everyone is getting some kind of cut from UA-cam. I don’t think it is you or viewers and doesn’t reflect that. It has to do with changes UA-cam has recently made. I’m not well versed in the changes I just know that a lot UA-cam content creators seems to be feeling the cut. The woodland critters has to be one of my favorite sets too. Love the book theme. Excited to see what you create! I don’t always comment but I always watch all your videos and share your channel. You are so talented and I’ve learned a lot from you in regards to coloring and I just really like the systematic way you go about creating a card. Super appreciate you ❤
I thank you so much for using my links! Each company has a different timeline as to how long affiliate links last. I think for Lawn Fawn it might be ten days? I’ll have to double check on that. Lawn Fawn is pretty much the only company that I’m affiliated with as far as earning a kickback. I’m also with MFT and Waffle Flower, but almost never get any income from either, so it’s mainly just Lawn Fawn. Not every company offers the program and some companies have left it recently. I get it. It’s hard times for companies and creators alike.
I have also heard that UA-cam is implementing changes that make it harder to earn money, which is super frustrating, especially if you’re someone like me who doesn’t earn anything close to a living from it. All I’m trying to do is keep the channel running, purchasing my supplies and equipment from what I earn so I’m not taking anything from my family to run it. If I can’t even do that, then I might not be able to continue. It’s just the reality. Last year’s taxes were so bad my husband is really recommending that I stop and just get a second part-time job. We’ll see what happens. But I thank you for the encouragement and support!☺️💗

For the links, do you have to go into each one individually for it to work? I wouldn't think so and I have always assumed when I have used affiliate links that you just go in once and then everything on your order gets credited. I'm glad you mentioned your affiliate links and now plan to use them. This is the first video I have watched of yours. I plan to buy a large order and much rather support you than not! I love so many of the new releases I might have to be careful of not breaking my bank. I am really looking forward to looking at your older videos. So many of the people here have mentioned your coloring which is one of the reasons I love LF. I love to see how people use color with them. You only have to click one link and you don't even have to buy the item that you clicked on. You just have to use the link to take you to the store. But they do expire after a certain amount of days, so it's always best to use the most recent Lawn Fawn video to go from. Thank you so much for thinking of me! I can't thank you enough!

I’ve heard that one is good! Is it really scary though? I don’t read a lot of thrillers because I’m a total scardey-pants. I just started reading The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh. I don’t read a ton of fantasy either but I’ve been dipping my toes in the genre from time to time lately and this one sounded intriguing and it has such a pretty cover. lol. I just finished the first chapter last night, so we’ll see how it goes!📚☺️

Another UA-camr I follow has a patreon account and she does private videos for her patreon subscribers. It’s a pretty small subscription but it helps her and is nice for subscribers to support her as well and I think with patreon it’s more of a return for you instead of such a high percentage being taken from UA-cam with donations. Just a thought.
It’s something I may look into. I haven’t really seen any other cardmakers doing this though and I always worry that it could offend loyal subscribers, but it’s something to consider, for sure. Thank you!😊
@@christygetscrafty Nichol sphor is a card maker who does patreon if you’re interested. I think there are subscriptions or something like that with UA-cam now and there are several people doing subscriptions. Kristina Werner is one. It’s not much and not required but if you want extra content type of thing.
That doesn't make any sense, I placed a $170 purchase that I used your affiliate link for just a couple of weeks ago. Not only that but about a month ago, I placed an order through your affiliate link for Lawn Fawn for $150, I think. You should have been getting money for all the Lawn Fawn orders I have placed, for a while, and all of those added up so much which is why I have determined not to get very much in the future. I don't know what could have happened. You are my favorite UA-camr and I recommend you to my family and my friends. I know my daughter in law subscribes to you and my second oldest son. I find this very concerning. You are, simply, amazing and I absolutely adore your channel. I love your haul and I am looking at placing another Lawn Fawn order, soonish using your affiliate links. I go to your newest Lawn Fawn video, I click on your links and then I put together my shopping cart, pay for it and assume you are getting a percentage from it. Am I doing it wrong? If you decide not to continue with UA-cam, I completely understand. I would miss your channel so much but it's a lot of work and time for so little in return. You are truly an inspiration to me and you have been such a bright light in this, increasingly darkening world. This community is better because of you and all that you do to share your talents and light. I know the Lord has a purpose for all of us and that one day we will be held accountable to Him for what we have and have not done on the time we have here on this earth. I know that you are doing something wonderful in this community by sharing your light with others. The world needs more warriors for truth, like you, in it. I love your haul, I got a lot of the things you did. I got the, you crow girl, the snowmen( but not the add on), the woodland critters book set, the add on, the die for the freebie from last years christmas stamp, the book dies, the owl/penguin treat box dies, the book washi tape, and the christmas paper. I was shocked by how quickly it all added up. That is why I plan on getting another order but it will have to wait a bit. The spiders were things I wanted to get, as well, but I dont plan on making Halloween cards so decided it didn't make a lot of sense to get them. I also wanted the Christmas mice but figured they would still be there next month. I dont like the new format for their website but not much to be done for that if you like ordering from them directly, and I do.
Anyways, sorry for the long comment but I was shocked about you not getting any percentage of my affiliate shopping. I dont know how you fix that and I hope you keep us updated on this. It sounds like UA-cam isn't playing fair or Lawn Fawn isn't and I would hate Lawn Fawn to be cheating you out of the money you have earned by all of your wonderful videos showcasing them, that's what makes us want so many of their products.

Wow, that stinks that the affiliate codes weren’t working! I definitely did not get any orders come through in at least a month and a half, maybe even longer. I’ll have to go back and check the last date one came in, but I’m pretty sure it was June. I don’t know what could have happened. I’ve heard that cookie blockers can make it so the affiliate code doesn’t work or sometimes it doesn’t work if the order is placed on a phone. But other than that, if the link isn’t expired it should work.
I’m sure Lawn Fawn isn’t to blame at all. They are such a lovely and generous company. Maybe there was some glitch. Maybe it had to do with them moving their storefront to a new website? I really don’t know. But I just had one order come through so it must be working again.
I do so appreciate your friendship and kindness and never want you to overextend yourself by placing orders that you aren’t ready to. Please don’t worry about that.
It’s not just affiliate links anyway. UA-cam is changing and making it harder to earn any money. And like I said in a previous comment, I’m not trying to earn a living here. All I’m trying to do is keep this channel running, use this income to buy supplies and pay my taxes on it, which were so high last year. I’m doing my best to keep it afloat. And I’ll keep trying until it just can’t support itself any longer.
