Lol, love this conversation. It went to the lib... hahaha! I miss the leather sheaths as almost all my fix blades in the last 10 years came with a plastic sheath. My old Colt (United Cutlery) Tanto and Cold Steel Mini-Tanto (circa 1995) came with leather sheaths.
I personally prefer leather sheaths for larger blades and hunting, and always over those cheap cloth sheaths. But it can be hard to get your hands on good leather sheaths nowadays, which is why its important to talk to guys like Chris.
