- Pirates of Wildwood is a dark boat ride on Morey's Mariner's Pier in Wildwood, New Jersey. This complete ride-through was recorded by Bill Cherkasky on June 28, 2024. For some reason, the music inside the ride wasn't on so it was unusually quiet.
Great time !
Thank you for this! I like the art, I loved the giant hand. Don't really get the theme, as it's pirates then sci fi? Also, if they were only going to hire one voice actor, they might have gotten one who could do an Irish/British pirate accent. But if it were perfect, that would spoil the point of a local dark ride. It's perfect in its imperfections. There's no way I'm getting to Jersey this summer, so honestly, I really do appreciate you sharing the local culture. Morey's Pier Forever!
Mister Toad's Relaxing Boat Trip. lol. Still love these local attractions. They have heart, if not budgets.
I went on this after riding sea serpent twice in a row, just to close my eyes and relax
Seems like some background music would help, but I never rode this in its current state
Dude if you ever found a complete ride through of Journey to the Center of the Earth from Dorney Park I just might have a heart attack. I went on that damn ride almost 40 years ago and it still stays with me.
I think there is some footage of it on youtube. I remember seeing some of the trolls and spider.
@@DarkinthePark I actually found some old footage just today. Thanks bro.
Tried riding this ride today. It's a 2 person minimum.
Yes, there are no single riders allowed on this ride for safety reasons. I asked a couple women if I could ride with them and they agreed.
Love the art on this one
Probably looks amazing with 3D glasses on!
Am I the only one in the bunch that misses the jolly roger skull trash talking?
1:51 “Uh…? -‘Boo!’- ‘Ahoy, there!’ Exit to your left!”
They used to try to jump out at you in this ride, but they made it more of a family ride and don't do that anymore.
Did this replace Dante’s inferno ?
No...it replaced "Dark River". Dante's is still there.
Wasn't this ride scarier?
Yes, it has been made more kid-friendly over the years.
