loved the idea of william disguised as mulder telling her he knows she loved him!!!great scene, sad but great!!!
In my mind Jackson/ William was and always will be Dana Scully and Fox Mulder's child. The have loved him for so long. I hate this new idea of CC's. Love the video.

It's always been affirmed that Mulder and Scully are William's biological parents. What was left unanswered is HOW he was conceived. Did Mulder and Scully conceive him in All Things or did CSM conceive him by restoring Scully's fertility and injecting Mulder's sperm into her while she was unconscious in En Ami. I'm inclined to believe that it was CSM who conceived him. He always had an perverse obsession with Scully and he wanted to destroy Mulder because he was pathologically jealous of him. He wanted to infiltrate himself into their lives such an twisted way. In En Ami, he talked about wanting to leave a legacy behind him. He was talking about a grandchild. But his obsession with Scully had grown so much that he had become immediate threat to her. In his mind, if he can't have Scully then no one can. That's why he seeked out to kill Mulder in season 11 finale. But his grandson was way smarter than he was. Chris Carter ended season 11 perfectly that Mulder and Scully finally conceived their second child this time ON THEIR OWN. William was an experiment that he was conceived by CSM through Mulder and Scully's DNA. They didn't conceive him on their own, he was conceived for them.

@@SerahSanguine I think we all yearn for a love and relationship like this but if we think about it too long we realize it's next to Impossible and we will begin to feel robbed. So it's best not to dwell on it too much but just enjoy the moments, in some ways by proxy, through Mulder and Scully :)

Anyway, i both liked and disliked this episode. Mulder finding his son was amazing. Scully being pregnant and actually being able to tell Mulder this time was great too. However, Chris Carter ruined it all by making William Scully's and CSM's son. It ruined the fancy idea of everything. Scully was pregnant with the brother of her big love Mulder... I would have been more interesting to see Mulder as hi father. Also it would have made sense. Mulder had those visions too and could hear thoughts when hebwas abducted by cms. He from then on had a different brain chemistry. That was before Scully got pregnant. So they could have made Mulder made see Williams visions too. It's a shame :( i think they should've ended the X-Files forever or make a final movie with Gillian in it (who knows... She just said she wouldn't return to the series) and eventually solve the conspiracy. Make William the one who saves humanity; make him stop the colonization... You know? Let them end it with happiness for all (or most of) them
I agree i think finale movie to clear up some plot whole would be brillant and i will forever think william will be mulders son and to say other wise is wronge i belive csm thinks hes god and thats why u thinks he the dad ^^
Thanks for this loved the show. have to say CSM as the dad really was a disappointment. Another movie would be great but it doesn't look probable at this time.
William and the other fake baby are not Mulder's.

I know so many people hated the finale, but I actually loved it. What did you think of this William & pregnancy resolution/cliffhanger?
The Berretts i did loved the whole baby number 2 idea but it still left me with questions i dont feel like not everything was resolved and thought it should of been slightly longer and Dana could of done so much more insted of sitting by a phone she strong charter and i feel like she got be littled a little bit but over all was a good final x
Yeah, I think Chris Carter isn't done yet. Mulder and Scully might be done, but the William storyline isn't and he is clearly planning to play with that in the future.

I'm definitely going to miss Scully. She's my favorite for sure! With that said, Gillian has a lot of other projects coming. Hopefully they do another season of The Fall because Stella Gibson is her best character of all time. Either way, she'll still be working and we can still follow her career and watch her talents in other roles.

Do they ever once utter the words "I love you" to each other? Not that they needed to (it was LONG understood) but most people that do love each other speak those words.
I don't really like the teenager William's character. Lacks charisma, killing machine and is played by much too old actor. I think the character would have deserved more interesting development.
Also I have decides I will believe that Mulder is still the real father. I think CSM didn't mean the DNA was his but he implanted Scully/Mulder DNA which he had got from Scully's IVF treatments and altered into super human since both (!) Mulder and Scully had experienced alien things and had the perfect DNA for little more alteration. Mulder had the brain disease which made his brain over active (same symptoms William had since childhood) and Scully had alien DNA. Also the whole season 9 was surrounded by the plot that they had to kill either Mulder or William - father or son - so why would the have been after Mulder if this wasn't the truth? Making CSM the real father would be just bad writing.

I was like 6 or so when William was born. I watched weekly with my family. I more or less grew up with this show and William. I am so utterly disgusted by how they wrote him off in this season. It was bull... It felt like Chris Carter was trying to punish everyone. Smh.

I only thought that Mr. Anderson had the impression that William was dead, and I wanted to correct that impression, especially that we do not see in the extract here presented that William is alive - it leaves the impression that he died.

Yes they are together again as fugitives. I mean how many big shady government people did Mulder suddenly go rogue and kill. They both leaked, by name, info to the alarmist media. The kid blew apart a score of agents. They'd get the blame for that.
Actually walking away from that motel, FBI badge or not, was a super stretch of plot suspension of disbelief.
Well at least the viewers got to shoot all the 11 years of bad guys through Mulder's semiautomatic handgun. Oh I forgot guns are bad. Except when they're sooooo cooool on film.

Hunter N season 11 was nuch better then season 10 felt like classic 90s xfiles with classic motw episodes and good mythology x
