I have like 6 of these under a different brand. I love them for the cost and often use them over my more expensive lights.
But the diffusion is one of the reasons. I find myself almost never using led without diffusion just doesn't look good.
This might be good for other uses though, like emergency lights or work lights.
BTW I just subbed, you seem to make videos very much the same as I used to make, so the content is very much interesting.

Yes you make it brighter but you defeat the purpose of the light. It’s not suppose to be harsh direct light, you have a diffuser in there to do exactly that, defuse light… knowing this man’s skill with soldering small components im kinda sad he didn’t just solder in a better COB leds or even better a COB panel…
