When is the Orlando Florida show you are attending? I did not get a date on that. It depends on the pet store orders from me on what I have to offer by then, I have a lot of rare Guppies now but who knows as the pet store weekly but from me so it just depends on the time. I will be posting some of mine on eBay shortly.
Price per table at reptile shows has never bothered me as I look at vendor shows as supporting the hobby as well as working vacations in which I always do very well at. Having my small RV is a plus also now and I get 50% off usually at any state parks on my military discount and great discounts in national parks. Which provides electric, water, bathrooms, showers and what ever recreational activities these parks offer. I will see what I need to get some display tanks obviously, banner and such but that's fine. Can't wait to get to these without question. I will be in Orlando regardless but hoping to be able to set up anyhow depending as I sell a lot every week locally . It's a bit to early to see if I will have enough to take to such a event.
I've got at least 6 turquoise rainbowfish fry. I removed a large mass of plants from my tank with 6 very young (1.2-1.5") fish and put the plants into a bucket. 6 days later I see at least 6 fry, likely way more (my eyes are not so good). I am not prepared but I have raised angelfish and cories in the past. Might flake food mashed in a mortar and pestle be small enough for them?
Great information on feeding fry. I employ these methods and it makes raising fry so much easier. I also use vinegar eels and infusoria. Thanks for the tutorial.
I think I have 13 DNR fry based on their behavior. I trimmed plants in my main tank and tossed them in my pleco grow out tank and 2 weeks later some kind fry was swimming around. I used Aquarium Co Op fry food that I've been grinding into dust until I got brine shrimp to hatch.
To grow green water just takr a bucket and let a live plant to direct sunlight outside. I garantee you gonna have algae growing in a few days. The longer you keep the bucket outside the more algae will grow..
Instead of Methylene blue. Can I use Alder Cones to prevent the eggs from fungusing? The guy at the fish store said to use those instead of Methylene blue. But I have more respect for your opinion.
Just got Lake Ajynto Bosemani Rainbowfish eggs. Very excited.

I loved seeing the green water bin... in action with fry. How easy is it to catch fry out of the green water bin?
Excellent step by step video.

👍🏻🤟🏼
Solid
In the green water method you didnt use methylene blue.Is fungus of no concern in green water?
I believe he just didn't want to waste the methylene blue.
To tell you the truth it was more of an experiment so know I did not use the methylene blue but I'm assuming it might kill of the green water
@@JadrenAquatics Ohhh that makes sense! Thanks for clearing that up!
Can fry from 1 to 10 days old eat Infusoria? and how much is the loss rate of the fish to adulthood, thank you
