ughhh this just made me miss WA that much more, we were stationed at Ft Lewis back in 2014. Then we went for a weekend back in 2019 & we hope to visit again soon. Enjoy it, I know we sure did!
Hi Casey! Idk why but I’ve always just felt an instant bond with all other Casey’s, especially when it’s the same spelling! There’s not that many of us and I’ve found that we generally all have the same personality. I just found your channel after watching The Film Poets wedding video and I just love your little family! My husband retired from the Army a few years ago and now my 18 year old son is in the Army and about to go to airborne school. You’re going to LOVE Washington! We were stationed at Lewis for 5 years and there’s something about that place that gets in your bones, which I’ve also heard to be true of Alaska as well. Being a Louisiana/Georgia raised girl, everything about Washington was a complete culture shock to me. We got there like a week before Christmas, so I saw very little sunlight for the first few months, plus my husband was deployed 3 months after getting there, so I actually HATED it there for the first year, but then I just absolutely fell in love with it. So, it might take a little while to get used to it! After 24 years and so many different stations, when people ask us what our favorite post was, we always say Lewis. My 3 kids say that it’s a tie between Ft. Lewis, Washington and Patrick AFB in Florida. But a lot of their favorite childhood memories is from our trips to Leavenworth, it’s an absolute must during this time of the year! We had a house in Puyallup, with a view of Rainer from the master bedroom, but your view is the best!
Welcome to Washington! I have the view looking south towards Mt Rainier through the Snoqualmie Valley but I super love the view looking north. So much beauty with our mountains.

I think you guys might fall in love with WA. I hope you guys take time to explore our state. The beaches, the mountains, and the lakes are unmatched.
Love your vlogs Casey!!! So excited for you guys!! Congratulations on new house and new adventures!
I live in Olympia, born and raised in the PNW. You will love it here, and you’ll get used to the rain. The spring and summer here is PERFECT so it’s worth it, for all 4 seasons. Are you living in Yelm/Roy/Rainier? I’m just guessing based on the view and the land. I lived in Yelm for years, and it has a huge military community since it’s so close to JBLM.
I live in Montesano!! That was my guess also but could be Elk Plains or just a Puyallup suburb.
I love all the PNW comments on here! I have lived in washington the past 30 years (gosh i feel old) but i absolutely love it! Living in the San Juans is just beautiful 🌲 we get gorgeous summers and snow days ❄️ are magical. Truly blessed to live in washington!
So crazy to see my favorite UA-camr I’ve watched for years move to where I grew up. We still live in the area and I can recognize it by the trees & road you were driving on 🤣 Wish you guys the best of luck in your move & living in the PNW! It’s beautiful here ☺️
Ahhhh Washington is home for me I grew up there! You said Mt. Rainer right the first time hahaha. When ever I go back to Washington to visit family and I see the mountain I get goose bumps because I know I'm home. I hope you love it as much as I did.
I'm so excited to see the new house and travel vlogs!!! I love you guys.
Omg the outside on its own is so beautiful, can’t wait to see more!!
Sooooo gorgeous! I love houses that are a little more out in the country- there is so much space!
Welcome to the West Coast, well PNW!! I''m from Southern California but I've been to Washington about 3 times and loved it!
I’m so excited for you guys 😭 Love the way you and Davis are in it together no matter what. I love how you both stay so positive about change and the upcoming adventures! Can’t wait for your next chapter! 💕
I’m so happy for you! Congrats Casey, Davis & Mason!
That backyard is STUNNING!!! Omg I’m so happy for you and your family!!
ughhh this just made me miss WA that much more, we were stationed at Ft Lewis back in 2014. Then we went for a weekend back in 2019 & we hope to visit again soon. Enjoy it, I know we sure did!
You pronounced it right. I hope you have a great Christmas in your home in the country!
Welcome to the PNW. Rainier had what we call her hat on so that means rain is coming.
I love watching Mt Rainier ! Some days its so amazingly beautiful it blows my mind. I live right off 512 in Puyallup and it looks soo close. I hope you enjoy it over here. Though sometimes its a little freaky having a volcano in such close proximity.
