I love the background! I love that it’s not that typical “beauty room” background …. This is just so much more elegant which seems fitting for her
Thank you so much!!
I love it bc remember me fall season 🤭 too soon???
Being a girly with redness is such a struggle. I been wanting to try this foundation, but have been waiting for literally anyone with redness to review it! It works best for me to see people with similar skin tone, texture, and redness to try things in order for me to form an opinion for myself.
Hope you find all of these videos helpful!! ❤️
Redness can also be a dermatological term known as rosacea.
Yes I agree
I just found her today and am excited. I am combo more oily have texture and rosacea.
Dry skin with roseasea
One of the OG beauty gurus in UA-cam! She’s been so consistent and reliable to me when it comes to beauty especially on foundation and other base products since I’m an oily person too. Thank you, Casey! ❤
Im currently on Accutane so my skin is incredibly dry. I have been using this foundation and i really like it. It lasts for a long time.
I hate my rosacea, but I love that I'm not alone. You're beautiful and make me feel prettier too. Thank you!❤
🥹 you are definitely not alone!! So many people have it ❤️
What do you guys do for your rosacea? I think I have it but haven’t been diagnosed. I have the rash but they tested me for lupus and apparently it’s not that. Thanks!
@monicajackson2479 me too! I have a lupus like rash and lupus like illness but somehow they say no lupus. Undifferentiated connective tissue disease. So frustrating. Been a battle for 13 years. I use a variety of cleansers. Right now La Roche Posay. It's very gentle. Nothing "cures" my redness. I've tried it all. Very expensive. Cheap. Fad not fad. Best I can get it is moisturized, better looking but still red. I have to wear make up. Regardless. People may say oh no your beautiful no matter what but guess what...every time I don't wear make up people comment on my red skin and ask if I'm ok. It's so embarrassing. I hate it. All went to Hell around age 24. Developed a large goider. Hashimotos thyroid disease. Underactive thyroid. Then I developed horrible body pain they dubbed fibromyalgia brought on by the sudden death of my mother. I've gained 100 pounds the last 15 years. My face is red. I constantly hurt. It's pretty awful.🫤
@@CASEYHL91 thank you! You are my favorite beauty guru. 💕
@@katharine2435 I haven’t been to the doctor yet to check what I have but a lot of people say it’s bc of my makeup but I don’t think it is, I think it’s with age(like premenopausal or something) I just turned 46 and it wasn’t like this last year. I had blood work to check for lupus and then had regular bloodwork and nothing. I don’t know. It’s weird how it just randomly started. Maybe wearing makeup everyday will help me but I don’t know. I sure hate to start on a cream all the time but I’m wanting it to clear up. I too use different cleansers and makeup overall, I can’t help it bc I like trying new things. But it’s higher end makeup from Tjmaxx and still in date on all the things and even from ulta so I don’t think it’s that.
It’s actually been my daily foundation and I’m loving it. I’m oily too
Yes I’m going to try it out . I live here in Texas where it’s hotter than anything. I’m oily and I’m going to wear it for at least 10 hours I’ll report back and let you know.
Let us know ! I’m in Houston and oily as well
Any update please
@@lalkhawngaihi1708 sorry yes update. I wore it 3 days in a row (worked a 12 hour shift) first day didn’t powder and used elf green primer and I was oily. 2 day double primed powderd and still shiny (glowed) but I like 👍 it I’m still going to use it it feels like I’m not wearing anything at all. I think you would like it. At least I hope so.
I’m glad I watched - I have all the skin things you do minus the rosacea but I got the pores the texture the oily skin - I trust your recommendations ❤
Great video review 😊
Girl, we’re trying to see the makeup, so ZOOM IN!!!!! I don’t care about your background. I wanna see how the makeup looks up close!!!
THIS! Love watching her videos, but I hate that they’re always so zoomed out!
@@brandyfoster3734Jaime Genevieve is the QUEEN of the zoom ins. I love her for that lol
Exactly like WTF
I know this is old but you can literally zoom in on the video when you pinch the screen
Yes zoom in pleeeeease!
I’ve been waiting for this review, all the other reviews I’ve seen are in people with perfect smooth skin, and me having rosacea also, just wasn’t working for me… thank you Casey for making videos that we can relate to, because not everyone has perfect smooth skin!! Love love love your videos!!
I to have Rosacea. With the redness thank you
Finally got around to trying, and I’m a picky foundation folk, and I liked it! Lightweight, blendable, was a big win for me- and the price, win, win!
I haven’t tried elf in a long time! Excited to see if the foundation’s worth it
IHaven'tTried elf in A long Time Excited To See ifThe Foundation's Worth it Brianna Fox She Look Stunning 🔥I Watch Your Video Where Get That Makeup From?WOW Her Face is Flawless Healthy Girl New Looks
I love how honest you are with reviews!!!
I just got my ELF satin foundation today and I'm excited to try it out. I got it in 40 Tan Warm and I have dry skin plus several texture because I have a few sores and discoloration from picking my skin. I will see how it wears too because I'm going out tomorrow and we're in the middle of a heatwave here in Philadelphia. I agree with you, Maybelline super stay foundation is awesome for a long wearing stay put makeup! I was wearing it for a few months and the last time I wore it, it was a brutally hot 🥵 day and I was sweating fiercely. Even when I dabbed my face with tissue, there was very slight transferring, which was unbelievable because of how much my face was sweating!
I have rosacea also. My nose looks polka-dotted with alot of products so I am always happy to watch your videos.
Great, honest video! I ordered this the other night and I have pretty oily skin so we’ll see how it acts. I’m dying to try the SuperStay serum foundation! I used to wear the regular SuperStay years ago and I liked it for full coverage. Now I don’t need full coverage but maybe light to medium. I thought your makeup came out really nice, but like you said, how does it look after hours and hours?
Thanks for this review , I wanted to try this foundation, but I was hesitant. I have oily skin and I'm glad to hear your opinion. I will go try the Maybelline, I was also hesitant about that one.
I have the same rosacea redness you do! So glad I found you today! What foundation brush do you use?
IDK...I might still try it, but I'm for sure picking up the Maybelline 24-hour skin tint. Love the background, too!! Thanks for reviewing this foundation 👍. See you on the flip side xoxo 😘 🤗 💕
So nice to see you back Casey…
I've been watching you so long that I know when you don't like something 😅. Maybelline 24 hr skin tint is my HOLY GRAIL. It blows L'Oreal skin tint out of the water for me
I agree. I wear it almost daily at work & it still looks good at the end of the day 😀😃
Bought some foundation…love it! I have rosea and elf covers it.i have dry mature skin..I moisturize first and it stay well and looks nice
Thanks Casey I love this foundation I’m 60 and I love it on my skin. I’m combination skin FYI
That color is perfect for you and overall looks so natural and beautiful on you! You may also want to try the Elf Camo foundation.
Did you do a follow up on the laser treatment you had for the rosacea?
Love the background and also I’m so excited you reviewed this foundation!! I have been so curious about it!
Yay! Thank you!
Watching you put on makeup is very helpful
So we moved into our new house and as I was unpacking I went through all of my makeup and ma’am I have a full unopened peach perfect setting powder 😳 first thing I thought about was you 😂
Casey!! You should revisit an oldie, but a goodie, the Revlon Colorstay. I got it early last year when they reformulated it, and it's just the best!! It's very similar to the Covergirl Outlast (red cap), but it is way more long wearing. It also looks prettier the longer I wear it because my oils come through ever so slightly, but it doesn't break down at all!! I wear the oily/combo version.
Revlon Colorstay was my ride or die back in the day! They reformulated it? I'll have to try it again! Thank you
@laurieclarkson9180 Yes, give it a try! It's amazing!!
Only review I trust. In Casey we trust!
I always look forward to seeing you try new foundations cuz I too have rosacea… my cheeks are nearly purple sometimes!
Interested in what you have to say about this. I just got it and haven’t used it yet. I did hear from some of my fav people that it’s very good. ❤
I looove an old school foundation wear test and review!
Hi am new to your channel. For rosacea what's a good primer? I have never used foundation before, so I am very new to all of this. Did this flare your rosacea?
I’m dying to see you try the about face line!!! Loving their foundation right now🥰🤩
Hi Casey, Have you tried Prequel skin care products? They are formulated for rosacea and accepted by the National Rosacea Society. Kathleen Lights loves them. I love their vit C serum.
I’m still inlove with the red top covergirl foundation you reviewed that one time🤣 I NEVERRRR question your judgement👏🏻🤌🏻😍
You have made my decision easy, have oily skin & hot/humid Summers...
Your hair looks amazing ❤
I was excited to try this until you gave your review. Saving my money for another product! Thanks Casey for saving my money!!!!
I have textured skin and larger pores but i love this foundation. I think you look beautiful.❤❤❤
Have you been tested for Lupus. My friend gets that red mask when her Lupus acts up❤️❤️❤️
I am new to your channel but would the green setting powder elf has help at least with redness?
❤ noticed you said you would not wear this in a hot climate...would you please consider doing a "hot climate" full face that lasts for you. Definitely need recommendations❤
I ALWAYS come to your videos to check out foundation reviews because I am an OILY and textured girl!
Maybelline skin tint is my everyday and was eyeing this one earlier today, I think I’ll stick to my maybelline!
Hi! You said not long lasting for a hot summer day. What foundation do you recommend for summer?
I’ve been waiting for this video. I’ve already bought the foundation and have been using it.
What is your nail color? I love it!!!❤❤❤
Wish I could figure out exactly my skin type w/out spending money and consulting a professional. I do have some redness but not too much. I'm just trying to figure out skin care and make up. I'm 56 and I'm starting to see the aging.
Love that I found your channel. You're so real and beautiful!
What was your lipstick? Love it.
Man I need to try that Maybeline skin tint! Everyone who’s tried it loves it! Ugh now I want to go get it 😂
Soooo happy the snaps are back!! ❤❤❤
Thank you. I’ve been waiting for your review on this product ❤ Love your videos
What lip color are you wearing in this video? Great color for spring/summer!
Where did you get ur sweatshirt I love it
I, too, like to PRESS the foundation onto my skin, rather than buffing it. I'm always satisfied with the finish that way, whereas using buffing motion, or a sponge---whether it's damp or dry---I feel I have to go over and over some areas.
Glad I didn't get it at Walmart today, I was actually waiting on your video because I seen you picked it up the other day, I really wanted to like it 🤭
Do you have recommendations on foundations for texture face?
Casey, always good to see you here bestieee!!
The video I’ve been waiting for 🥰😍 Thank you Casey for putting out the vidsss as always.
Of course!! Thank you for watching! ❤️
I think it looks amazing on you. Perfect shade.
Casey, I have to say this. When your long hair was behind you and your framed layers of hair in your shoulder. I think it looked beautiful. I think you would look great in a long Bob cut to your shoulders. You have beautiful long hair, but the shoulder length I thought looked AMAZING!! Remember……hair always grows back!! 💖
Completely agree 😍
@@Makeupl0ver007 it really did look awesome!!
Made her look younger. I loved it!
@@ArmyWife8697 short hair always makes you look 10 years younger. In the winter I wear it to my shoulders. That is my longest, and then summer comes and BAM!!! Pixie time. Really really short. It’s like night and day. I look so young and people love it and say it too. I’m 62, so I’ll take it. 🤣🤣
Casey, I love your long hair. It looks beautiful. It doesn't need to be shorter and shorter doesn't always make someone look younger, and you are young, so Idk why people are suggesting a cut.
I LOVE this foundation so much
Have you tried Azaleic acid to help with the rosacea
I bought this recently and not sure about it. I used to wear Mac Prolong wear until they discontinued it (best foundation ) and cannot find anything like it. I am 59 so my skin texture has changed a lot and very minimal wrinkles, combo skin. The problem I have a feel like everything separates and that is with using a primer and a setting spray.
Thank you for being so real with us!
Girl!! At the start of the video, when your hair was pulled back, I thought “Oh My Gawd…she chopped her hair off.” It actually looked really cute on you though. Then you flipped your beautiful hair over your shoulders and I thought “There's those gorgeous thick blonde locks!!” You are such a naturally beautiful girl.
Nurse here 😊 also struggle with redness. Your redness does look like a “butterfly rash.” Have you ever been tested for Lupus?
Which medium neutral are you using? 31 or 32?
What shampoo and conditioner do you use? Thanks
I have really dry skin. So this might work for me. Thank you for trying this out. I’m way older, so I’m not sure I would use a lot of powder on my face.
You are so welcome!
Omg girl my skin has been so textured the last few months and it’s driving me nuts. It’s like EXTRAAAA TEXTURE LOL!
WHAT shades did you use?
How I've missed you snapping into the video 😅💕
I think I'll pass on this foundation. I'll pick up the Maybelline skin tint instead.
Maybelline one is SO. GOOD! ❤️
I’ve tried this foundation multiple ways now and I can’t get it to stay on my face… I’m super oily and this separates, rubs off, and transfers super easy… even onto my phone
Yeah, I agree. I only can wear this up to like six hours and I can’t wear it when it’s this hot out. It’s over 90 where I am and humid. No makeup on these days, at all. I can’t do that feeling of my skin not being able to breathe.
It’s the “my nose just came off” for me. Always appreciate your honest feedback!
Do you think maybe the breakouts and texture is a result of doing the laser for your rosacea? I’m about to schedule my appointment for IPL but I’m scared I might make my rosacea worse!!!!! I hope you answer back if u can ❤❤😢
Honestly not sure. I don’t think the BBL laser caused it but maybe the moxi? I need to try again but i have also been trying a LOT of new makeup products. I had a cleansing oil break me out like crazy the other week, too. I just can’t catch a break 😆
Any tips on how to get the foundation to stick to my zone and nose never stays have combination skin
What foundation brush are you using?
I got this foundation and it’s so good
So excited for this review!! 🎉
Trust your opinion on makeup products. Thank you for sharing ❤
Zero interest in this foundation, but loveeee to watch my girl apply some makeup! Lol 😍🔥💚
Always love your reviews ❤ you are gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much!!
Glad it wasn’t just me that it came off on my forehead at my hairline! That never happens with my regular foundation but wasn’t sure if I did something unknowingly. I work from home so it’s perfect to wear for my meetings but I won’t be wearing it out on a long day
Love your Austin TX shirt, I'm 30 miles north of Austin
Thank you!! ❤️ visited Austin a couple weekends ago and it was so fun!
Have you tried the TirTir foundation?!
The maybelline skin tint is horrible if you have sensitive skin with the alcohol dent in it. Definitely prefer the elf but I’m more combo skin with texture and it’s smoothing on me.
O m g I haven't you in fooooor ever 😢one of my first makeup influencer
Hi I’m new here but just subscribed! You’re so welcoming and remind me of Jessica Simpson! ❤ thanks for the review
Yay thank you so much!! ❤️
do you have a link for your earrings?
Im from Austin tx love your sweater!! ❤
She is a full cover queen so if you don’t want full coverage then maybe you might like it .
Yayayay heyyy girlllll def needed this review to see if it was worth it!!!
Olá, qual a cor você usou da base e.l.f?
My skin really changed my early 30’s - I had to change up my foundation I had been using
A lot of the make up you try I can’t use because they have highly comedogenic ingredients and cause bad breakouts :-(
Mine is going CRAZYYYYYY
Please tell me where this top is from?
4:59 thank you for being honest
