@@SteffanJohal yeah this is my second one. Had one for 20yrs and got totaled. Then got this one from and older man because he couldn’t take care of it anymore

I bought a 6 speed cl in limp mode last December and it very quickly went from a cheap car to learn stick and flip to my daily that always puts a smile on my face. I wanna find This supercharger one day and might even do an ecm swap because I’ve already had issues with finding the stock sensors. I’m still working on fixing everything the old owner butchered but hopefully soon I’ll be modifying it.
5AT owner here, religiously taking care of my transmission fluid is the only way to keep the shifts crisp, thinking of 6MT swap as it’s a fantastic car as is, can’t imagine the difference it will make
Coming from someone who has both the 5at and 6mt, the automatic is great as long as it stays together, but the manual with LSD is a game changer. Any cl in my eyes is great though!
@@SteffanJohal well here’s the story lmao, my dad purchased a 2001 TL Base In 2006 as a graduation gift and it wasn’t even a week into me having it and the transmission failed, my family has been dealing with this dealership forever so to stay loyal to my dad they let me trade it back, the day I brought it back some guy “just” traded the 03 supercharged CL Type S 6 Speed In and they let me do a swap for it for the same price (8400), they didn’t investigate that this one was a lil special and I got it.
