Just a note: at 4:06 you mention the inbuilt cab sim- it’s not an IR, it’s a fixed analog filter. That’s why you can’t change it, but on the plus side it’s zero latency since it’s analog. Depends what you need I guess- but the option to turn it off then feed a digital loader or DAW makes it a cool “backup” feature for me

(all my amp go "poof") 🥺 I've been on a quest for something that will let me convincingly blend what I love about slapping analog fuzz/wha/boost/OD and distortion pedals in front of an amp, and somehow inject that into my digital interface for utilizing midi foot switched mod/time/verb effects, with power amp sims and cab IRs. I briefly had a Victory Amps V4 all tube "The Jack" 2 channel preamp for this, which was freakin' AWESOME, albeit not particularly the overall flavor I probably should of purchased, and then when my GF went into the hospital? I was forced to sell that as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ya' just gotta love the 'Murican for profit health system am I right?! (sarcasm) I really like your honesty in this demo. I was assuming this piece of gear was perhaps what I was after, but after watching I feel I need to keep searching. Thanks my dude! Cheers!
Wait. It comes with a single IR that you can't even switch out? Seriously? Also, $400 seems awfully pricey for what's essentially a preamp pedal. I mean for that money you might as well get a good lunchbox amp. At least that way you won't have to worry about the whole power amp thing.
