I have this bike and I agree so much with the gear ratio problem. Besides that I also changed the seat for one with suspension and more comfortable handlebars. Together with the throttle it makes for a great commuter
i feel like those turning indicators are a terrible idea. theyre not bright enough to be very visible in direct sunlight and a car behind you isnt guaranteed to be able to see them unless theyre directly behind you because the viewing angle could be blocked by the wheel. better to not have them at all than to use them instead of hand gestures and maybe cause an accident
Not only that but on a bike, and I include a Brompton, then standard rear light is way to low. If you are in a car you look towards objects in front of you in a direct line of sight and not lights that are just above 16 inch wheels. In the dark and on the way to work I always have a bright red light hooked up to my rucksack as well as a light mounted underneat my saddle. We have bicycle paths that are on the right of parked cars. I don't want to be the surprise element at a junction where all of a sudden the row of parked cars end.
Shame it is not perfect, the colour is nice though. You're meant to use an actual bike rack bag designed to put ON the bike rack. Like bespoke bag you have on the front.

They do sell a cargo bag and front basket to carry things. They aren’t as big as a standard saddlebag, but that might be sufficient

If they made the ratio higher, then it would have been difficult to get up hills. It’s a trade off.
how did you fix the disc alignment? The bolt on the disc break caliper is very tight. I can't loosen it with the allen key provided.

The idea is not bad but the execution is poor.

The title is a contradiction, if it has two major problems then it is as far from perfect as its possible to get...
It’s intentional. I feel that the bike is a contradiction. It is so close to being a perfect little bike.
