Telescope Mirror Making: Part 2, Hogging to depth

This is part 2 of my video series documenting grinding and polishing a 12.5 inch telescope mirror. I'm using a spin or fixed post grinding machine. This video shows me using a sub-diameter tool hogging out the mirror blank to a depth of approximately .156 inches.
