More Quenepas And Making Passion Fruit Juice in Puerto Rico

- On today's video we stop in the old house in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico where my Duran grandparents used to live. We pick up more quenepas before heading back to Las Marias to make passion fruit juice from ripe fruits we picked that morning as well.

Ovi!!! I remember when I was a kid in Guaynabo. There was a breadfruit tree by the kitchen window with a huge passion fruit vine entangled to the branches. My mother used to collect the fruits that fell from the vine to make juice for my brother and me.

This is a great video but I'm cracking up. Because when it came time for him to add the sugar to the mixture he said"we're going to add two teaspoons or tablespoons of sugar".. meanwhile he added half the bag.😂😂😂

Wow. It's so crazy how similar the Caribbean is. Walking through there felt like I was walking through my Grandmother's place in Barbados. With the breadfruit tree and ackee tree. We call them ackees in Barbados I don't know why. English Caribbean calls them Guineps.

That's the best "queso de bola" ever! Im sure there is a place you can order from. Im trying to remember a web page that sells authentic puerto rican treats and such. Hmmm it's been years. Search authentic Puerto Rican food distributors. Good luck
