Yeah, I liked it, it was beautiful and the foundations were good but narratively it feels like it didn't build up to much and the ending was a bit underwhelming. I'd still say it's better than 85% of movies but it felt like it lacked a clear message the build up to the great granduncle was so short. Can't expect them all to be princess Mononoke level but it's a bit disappointing because this is probably the last movie we'll ever get from him. Funny enough I liked the plot of Tales from Earthsea better despite it being famous for making Hayao upset with his son.
