- The genius of Dr. Jit shows in this classic Steelband Panorama performance recreating the sound of rain on the steelband in the river. As Kitch say in the song "what confuse the public, you could only hear the band when rain fall." Another classic Panorama song by the Grandmaster.
Has to be considered one of the greatest panorama arrangements of ALL time. Renegades of that time ... the baddest four pan section period!
It's no Mystery why this is a #1 Band. When you listen to the Movements of the River flowing with it's raging waters creating such a Harmonious Melody along with an exciting rhythm you are just caught by all that energy. You cannot escape . Fantastic Arrangement and Performance. Thanks.

He gave us Jit Samaroo and the rest is history. Long Live Jit Samaroo.

This piece of music is simply Renegades greatest panorama performance.I wasn't in the Savannah that night because the band I played for didn't make it. However I picked them to win from preliminaries and they did not disappoint. RIP Dr. Hit. Hope you are enjoying the sweet music wherever you nay be :-)

How can you not love this arrangement? The man was a musical genius, straight up. No other arranger and there are a lot of good ones, can tell a story like Dr. Jit with those long lyrical passages. His music will be studied for generations, just like the great classical composers.

One thing I have noticed was the outstanding camera shots done by TV 6, never saw TTT get it like this even in 2020. This was one of the best done by local television. The shots capture the band's outstanding delivery. Who ever was was calling the shots in TV6 editing van that day was a real pro. If anyone knows who it was please post up that person deserves accolades. It raises questions to the live coverage of panorama on national TV, more thought needs to go into the shot selection. The editor calling the shots needs to know something about pan arrangements and the criteria to better understand the shots needed. Often the tune ends and the camera shot is all over the place or a solo is taking place on middle pans and the shot is on the front line...that kind of thing.
"Birthday Party" by Phase II (Arr: Boogsie) could've tied w/ this--- as great as this arrangement by the Dr was. What a panorama I wish I had the blessing to attend..but I was in my father's sac still lol

Words cannot describe this Performance . It is ah Winner from de Intro right thru to the last note . Another GEM from Dr. Jit and the Champions " Renegades " .
oh jeezan ages Iron man and Aminor used to be my favorites, this one takes the cake, am hearing shango baptist in this one allyuh sure Dr Jit from Lopinot ah ketching power right now, this is the best of the best I gotta face d music
