Spouge music has always been my favorite music from Barbados...back in the 70s I used to play so much of this music all around Trinidad at fetes...Nicholas and the gang thank you for such sweet memories of Spouge...Your production of this medley will live with me aways.
I am still wishing that you guys would do a complete album with this kind of music. I was alive at the advent of Spouge and, sadly, saw it recede into the background in just a little more than decade or so. The fact that it has such appeal, to me at least, tells me that it is a viable artform. Thanks guys.
Good selections from the pass, the Backup female singers sound Great.However, the men performance appears cocky. They need to control their cockiness. Remember, your life is bigger than yourselves.May God continue to Bless all Barbadians musicians.
My opinion is that they were not being cocky. If they are feeling the music like we are what are they to do? Do you want them to stand at attention? Let the men enjoy themselves do.
