Yeah Im a huge fan of the Artie era, only time I listened to the show, cause i loved Artie. Never heard or saw this either. Its really ridiculous how nieve all of them acted. Artie even used the term nodded out to describe what happened on the escalator or whatever. He was 100% using Heroin or whatever opiate he was on. As a former addict, I can almost guarantee you he had just shot up, or snorted, since he "claims" he never shot it. He was feeling the rush on the escalator which was why he almost passed out, no other option or story! Howards a dif story and I think you said it all perfectly as far as he was concerned!
I agree it led to good moments but it's still painful to fight through to get the context of what is about to go down. Artie absolutely hit it on the head with the "lies about everything" saga.
Artie on K-Rock was amazing. Great addition to the show. Unfortunately, he went downhill when they moved to satellite. He was agitated a lot. Picked fights with everyone and kept missing shows constantly.
You know Artie instantly regretted that "almost passed out" lie, because it snowballed immediately. Chris Kanyon also ended up committing suicide a few months after Artie's attempt in 2010.
Totally. When I first heard this clip I actually tended to believe Artie but in retrospect its so obvious he's lying. He's changing his story mid sentence
lol no he wasn't. His sister tried to get him to go, but he only relented and went to a wellness spa that he checked out of. He wanted to be fired so leaving the show wasn't his fault, and he could be bitter about it and not blame himself. You can't make someone go to rehab. They literally told him over and over again that he should go to rehab, and they would welcome him back.
Howard always said "Artie, you don't have to lie to me." But I wonder how they'd have reacted if Artie came into the studio and said "I'm off the wagon and I just snorted some heroin so I could get through the morning."
That first story of Artie being late during a break and it’s because he was light headed and almost passed out? That is pure BS. When Artie (like most people) tell the truth they are a lot more to the point. When you’re lying you add in so many little extra details that really aren’t relevant to the story. Also… The reason why Artie had to go get his own lunch is because he can smoke on the way.
Idk why but arties plight with food and drugs are like bedtime stories for me. They just calm me down. It reminds me there’s humans just as and also wayyyy more fucked up than me lol.
2:50 Artie such a hypocrite complainin about Richard's sanitation issues and was callin for human resources and stuff and at the same time he does this.. you could surely see he was jealous of Richard's comedy

Gary and Howard were in full out denial..but even if they gave Artie a year off from the show for rehab, Artie would’ve never changed. He would’ve just left the show and went back in the road. Nothing would’ve changed. Artie didn’t finally get clean over a decade after this clip.
Meanwhile, they were all right…and it was probably worse than they thought. I do understand where Artie’s coming from, though. Having unqualified colleagues discussing your substance abuse problem in a serious, public way has gotta be brutal, both personally and professionally.

Dang Iv never heard this, thank you. Artie was a terrible liar. You can hear it in his voice even he is ripped. Howard and Robin were as much to blame as anyone
For everyone to joke about it and blame it on food or diabetes was just honestly cringe to listen to, especially knowing the outcome in the end. if they truly cared about him, they wouldnt have made it into a bit, but made him get help or leave the show.
Yeah Artie's life long addiction was not Howard and Robins problem
he used a typical addict tactic adding numerous side storys to get people off subject they were originally talking about
@@joeymims5852 They were worse than naive. Howard knew but didn't want to admit it to anyone because he knew Artie was so great on the show, and he got a lot of material out of it. I mean, I'm sure there was a level of affection there too, but admitting it would mean he was enabling and open him up to lawsuits (in his own messed up mind that became obsessed with the thought of people suing him) but listening back is cringy because Fred and Howard will out-right attack Robin for thinking something is off with him like... they really didn't GAF. As long as the show was good - Howard and his little lapdog Fred don't care.
@@ellan.124 I agree with everything you said except about Fred. Fred ALWAYS had Arties back whether it was about drugs or any other topic. If you listen he defended Artie on every topic, to the point it was really odd to me, but I think Fred really loved and respected Artie. Howards a dif story and I think you said it all perfectly as far as he was concerned!
How does Sal sound the most mature and understanding in the wrap up show lol
Artie clearly said he nodded out on escalator but gets offended that people know he’s on H.
Artie was nodding off on the escalator. Been there, done that. I’m 11 years clean now!
How?
Goo fu yoo.
Day at a time brother, almost 4 years here
Want some smack and ruin it all? Jk, good job dude.
RIP Crazy Alice
The WUS is horrible
The Wrap Up show led to some of the shows best moments.
I agree it led to good moments but it's still painful to fight through to get the context of what is about to go down. Artie absolutely hit it on the head with the "lies about everything" saga.
@@S7232S It’s weird, it seems like everyone universally hates it, but I enjoy it most of the time, I’m definitely in the minority though.
It was where the staffers could actually have a singular testicle as opposed to none on THSS
What the WUS became was terrible.
What it was in its prime was pure gold
Artie on K-Rock was amazing. Great addition to the show.
Unfortunately, he went downhill when they moved to satellite. He was agitated a lot. Picked fights with everyone and kept missing shows constantly.
2003 was the best year with Artie
Anyone know where I can find the clip they are talking about of Artie getting mad at stuttering John?
Artie saying they made my mom cried wow with his action
Artie nodding off on the escalator lmfao
1:24:19 All hail Subutex. Artie should have made that call.
-All the satisfaction, none of the devastation: Subutex
I love everyone in the wrap up show calling out Gary when he tries to brown nose Howard
Fred was absolutely right that Artie went to meet his dealer and score, but he didn’t press it out of politeness to Artie
Anybody know the date of this?
Artie says Barry Bonds hit 740 home run, that was like may 11 2007
April 18, 2008
Drug deal showed up late! Lol
😂
“Blacked out”
this is good shit
ARTIE GOING OUT TRYING TO HOOK UP WITH HIS DRUG DEALER 😂
You know Artie instantly regretted that "almost passed out" lie, because it snowballed immediately. Chris Kanyon also ended up committing suicide a few months after Artie's attempt in 2010.
Totally. When I first heard this clip I actually tended to believe Artie but in retrospect its so obvious he's lying. He's changing his story mid sentence
What year was this?
Artie calling barry bonds a liar is priceless 😅😅😅
53:16 Sal accidentally spoke the truth about the boss.. tried to walk it back but he was too correct to do so
1:29:03 raplph prediction Kris Kanyon Suicide
4:00 heroin dealer
Fell asleep in bathroom
Artie was literally begging to go to rehab. Pretty sad.
lol no he wasn't.
@@ellan.124spazzy
Then he should have gone. You're acting like someone was preventing him from going.
Jon Hein saying he was predisposed to diabetes. The same dope that eats Big Macs for breakfast.
Just like Jason, I’m caught in Artie’s WEB OF LIES
Howard always said "Artie, you don't have to lie to me."
But I wonder how they'd have reacted if Artie came into the studio and said "I'm off the wagon and I just snorted some heroin so I could get through the morning."
Artie definitely meeting someone for something lol 😂😂
He was either scoring, or he was nodding and decided to get food.
I have no idea what's wrong with Artie 😂
It is so obvious at Arte came late cause he was waiting for is heroin dealer downstairs. He bought food too just to have an excuse
@@dingusbro925 eh it’s more likely that he was just snorting some that he already had and then nodded off on the escalator
Everyone with the Artie outlives Ralph🙄 did everyone forget that Ralph was a junkie as well??
Nobody cared and rightfully so. Worm food is the best contribution he's ever made
That first story of Artie being late during a break and it’s because he was light headed and almost passed out? That is pure BS. When Artie (like most people) tell the truth they are a lot more to the point. When you’re lying you add in so many little extra details that really aren’t relevant to the story.
Also… The reason why Artie had to go get his own lunch is because he can smoke on the way.
Nodding out 😂😂😂😂
Peak show…just listening to him eat is the greatest.
Idk why but arties plight with food and drugs are like bedtime stories for me. They just calm me down. It reminds me there’s humans just as and also wayyyy more fucked up than me lol.
1:11:43 yeah I'm sure his mom was concerned about what Jason said and not because of Artie's behaviour. He put that poor woman though hell.
Artie says he eats a lot of salad like that’s healthy cause you know the lettuce is sitting in a bowlful of ranch dressing.
1:18:41 Howard Transforms into Ray
Dam Artie is High on H on this one .
2:50 Artie such a hypocrite complainin about Richard's sanitation issues and was callin for human resources and stuff and at the same time he does this.. you could surely see he was jealous of Richard's comedy
Jason telling Teddy to stop selling Artie drugs 🧐 50:30
Why are there TONS of things cut out?!! One minute everyone’s talking about one thing and then the next it’s either dead air or it’s hopped to a new segment! So frustrating!
Looking back on it, you know, what a pathetic bunch of people
1:05:21; can’t believe Artie outlived Ralph
DAMN YOU TO HELLLL ARTIE!!!! hi Fred
1:07:06, one of the best moments ever.
Artie was great
They should have given him a random drug test, and if/when he failed, force him to go to the company paid for rehab.
Gary and Howard were in full out denial..but even if they gave Artie a year off from the show for rehab, Artie would’ve never changed. He would’ve just left the show and went back in the road. Nothing would’ve changed. Artie didn’t finally get clean over a decade after this clip.
My mother called me crying about what was said on the wrap up show. Then go to rehab and get off drugs.
God he is so high
Gary makes the WUS unlistenable. He can't STFU for more than 5 seconds.
“W-what do you do for a living, sir?”
So f-ing annoying
I hate when he’s trying to make a point his follow up is ALWAYS “no seriously!”
His constant mothering of Jason is so cringey
If you really want to torture yourself, listen to Gary's audiobook
Is there any way Will wasn’t cheating on his gf-wife? ‘Go there’ lol
Sal called it 49:59
Didn’t he eventually say in one of his books he went to the lobby to cop?
Howard went WOKE
Was Howard enabling Artie? Vote below ⬇️
1:11:33 Jason was 100% dead on about Artie. The only bigger lier on the show was Sal.
Really? You can’t even spell “LIAR”? 😂😂😂
This got cut off way too fast. It sounded like there was more to come
Bro you're nodding off
No I'm not
I went down to get French toast.
Meanwhile, they were all right…and it was probably worse than they thought.
I do understand where Artie’s coming from, though. Having unqualified colleagues discussing your substance abuse problem in a serious, public way has gotta be brutal, both personally and professionally.
Whatever Artie was up to, was it not a bit irresponsible to declare where the staff went for lunch 😂 Surely they wouldn’t be able to go without fans swarming them?
