Happiness is TK Friday. So much helpful tips to unpack. With Tony K’s awesome panels and your excellent teaching skills, TK Fridays are always wonderful. Thanks Dave!
Hello Dave, this was a great b&w edit. The color and b&w versions are beautiful for this image. For me, the learning portion was the zone adjustments for exposure and contrast. I used many approaches for b&w conversion in Photoshop and LR Classic but the color mixer has become my favourite in most cases. Cheers!
Good video Dave. You might want to consider checking for clipping using the TK button when you change darks and lights, especially for lights. Using the TK Dimmer button is great for creating custom vignettes. Try using multiple Dimmers with different opacities to build up the effect.
I love your edits of landscapes - but would like to see a full edit on an environmental portrait.

Throughly enjoyed this B/W edit. Using the tools in TK9 definitely made the process easy. Many thanks.
Really nice tutorial Dave. Thank you!

Thanks Keith. I did check for highlight clipping with Live Clipping and was good. I was going to mention that in the video but forgot.
Great video
Thanks
great editing, learned about the spot removal, 🙂
Wow....I think I like the B&W image better than the color image.
Very good. Thank you Dave. Just e little warning : the link for image doesn't work. 😇
Thanks! I just checked the link and it works. Please give it another shot.
@@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly I tried but I always get the same result. The link for pdf notes is ok. Thanks anyway for your work. 👍👍
@@Ciomi50 Sorry about that. I don't know why that is happening.
