It was awesome dude! Not too OP, not too hard. I loved that you didn't have to run to your menu to find some TP, you just had to fall back/dodge a few hits for a minute... And the combat animations really stood out to me, too. It was so fluid and entertaining even after 50+ hours!
This is an RPG good sir. To be precise, it's a sub-genre of RPG known as an Action RPG. The Tales series is probably the most consistent series in the genre (especially now that Star Ocean has officially bowed down as a series), though games like Odin Sphere,Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon's Crown are also part of the genre. And yes their battle systems tend to be compared to hack and slash or fighting games.
I learned to like Musee's spell casting abilities about as much as Rowen. When you link them together with the right skills you can get to the point where you insta-cast without running out of AC. I really enjoyed that the spell cast time reduction was shared with link artes as well as it's quite enjoyable to use link spells as quickly as physical link artes.
Vesperia was pretty straightforward on the surface. All the tech that was discovered for it was unintentional. Graces F was fun, but not perfect; you're right. Ludger is broken even compared to Yuri with that CS Weakness freeze discovery.
Ever since I played Graces F, I can't appreciate any other Tales game's combat system. It was so perfect it ruined the other games for me Dx I wish they'd at least add the side-step to future Tales games. Btw, awesome tune
TheHaseo4 The Tales of series has a monster called gentleman they appear in all of the series I believe, and some have elemental forms. Yup that monster is essentially Slenderman lol

Rita is gonna be jealous that Muzet & Rowen are using Diffusional Drive as an Advanced Tier Spell.
Muzet's Special ability is Emergency Warp and her partner ability is Support Warp.
Ritas Diffusional Drive is still better though, as it is more damaging and doesn't require a partner.
David Smith
Rowen and Muzet each have Diffusional Drive as an Advanced Spirit Arte.
Owyn Hammersley Although they don't have the vartions Rita does.
Coming in a decade later to see if anyone knows the song for the second part of this video

Doesn't seem like they gave her ANY new attacks the AI didn't use... disappointing, but at least we got her.

tamekutsu it'd be awesome if she had prism saver like Mila.

I like Raven's and Musee/Ludger's Air Thrusts.
I still like it my only problem with it is just the hit stun and how the recover command makes you more vulnerable than falling down does.
Very nice. Will you be putting out a Ludger exhibition as well?
Where did you get your your arte exhibition video music from?
Tom's diner
Probably because it's her elemental weakness in Xillia. Would be cool if she did have that element as well, though. Imagine the casting versatility.
That is some godlike video quality.
What’s the second song used?
But wait! Musee does have something from Raven! Arrivederci!
umm xillia 2 has side step mechanic ._. you can even chain ur side step with a launch attack that allows u to do aerial combo.
Pity she doesn't have a light spell like Glare Cage or Divine Streak.
OMG, she looks like Grune!
Does Musee have any sort of quirk, like Rowen's tuning and Milla's spirit-changing artes?
D: but Musee seems fun to play as! She looks good as backup though
Nice exhibition, and it seems that Musee learned a few artes from Raven (although Love Shot is faster).
What is the song you are playing in the background of this video ?
+BooU789 Tom' Diner. DJ.. Whitesmith? It's been a while.
+dagoldenclip2 would it be possible to know what the song used in the second half of the video is?
Tom's Diner Suzanne Vega, DJ Deckstream.
Musee's so cute
Strange, the only element she doesn't learn as a spell is Light.
Does anyone else want to be able to do that with their hair?
Is this hack and slash?
Dat Etherly Roots
Yes!

nah Graces F was good....but it was a bit more complicated than it should have been
SPOILERWARNING!!!
I will play the Final Boss combination of ToX only in ToX2!!
Arrivederci.
DID I JUST SLENDER MAN AT 7:10
TheHaseo4 The Tales of series has a monster called gentleman they appear in all of the series I believe, and some have elemental forms. Yup that monster is essentially Slenderman lol
actually Graces F' combast system was far from perfect....if anything the ones that did it best were Vesperia and Destiny R
Musee bitch slaps her foes with her hair x3
meh that game looks terrible overall..
