so a bit of story time that might feel a little nostalgic for the older WF players. year1-2 when there werent nearly as many players in the game and not as much platinum in the market there were 2 pieces of gear that were valuable. Nova prime chassis(80p) and ash blueprints(100p). now keep in mind this was back when for the average player 10p was alot to spend on something in a game that wasnt nearly as popular yet. so me and my 2 buddies would pick up a 4th and do infested orokin survival missions since that was where the nova chassis dropped and was faster than orokin defenses even though it sold for less. my buddy would swap between EV trin and the desecrate nekros. my other buddy would be the nova either speed or slow depending on how long we wanted to go and the 4th would fill the previous frame we would be missing. we would just chill in a good funnel with our backs to an elevator so the enemies always had to come in the front and talk/BS. it took me the longest to realize the reason we never had to also grind credits, since selling prime mods was another great way to make money, was all due to me on chroma. i just fkn loved dragons and it was fun to have my effigy do all the work since trinity would fill your energy even during a channel back then(cant remember if she is still that way, they have done lots of changes). but yeah, this video brought back really fond memories so thanks
Well.. 1999 came out. Melee Vortex is relevant per your guide online. New melee mod that is +magnetic and +atk speed. Companion rework also means that you can equip loyal/prosperous retriever on a beast and not use smeeta all the time. Ran it with no helminth, 100 str, high eff & direction, low range chroma. Lecta was gas, magnetic, and electric. Had riven with 60% atk speed, tennokai and life steal on heavy attack. averaged 150-200k creds with a booster thru 5 five minute runs. Survivability was still an issue, but arcane aegis helped a ton. Only thing I can’t figure out/struggle with is effigy placement. One moment I’ll think I have it perfect, get kills and only rack of a few thousand credits. Then i pop it and run around with magnetic, and i get like a solid chain of 40k-60k creds. Seems like it has potential to be busted but I lack the knowledge.

Yeah solo farming endo is tough. If you have some friends to play with, the arena Yam in Steel Path is good with the right team comp. Me and two friends were running a super suboptimal version of the team comp and were getting about 1.4k a minute
Can confirm this still works pretty well, built and tried it yesterday. I copied the builds from the vid exactly except for Galvanized Elementalist on the Lecta and a pet with Resourceful Reteriver. With no boosters at MR30 I was averaging about 350,000 credits per 5 mins.
I was so glad using the elementalist and damage mods on lua survival just to see here that more ticks means more money... meaning that I could have done better than 4m in one hour with booster. I'm both happy and disappointed, thanks for the guide
After trying this and SP Circulus, I have to say I prefer Circulus... Here's a couple issues with Chroma on Titan... First off, getting that ideal spawn location like in your run seems difficult. After like 10 runs, I didn't get it once - maybe it was even stealth-nerfed. Secondly, getting those 8.5 mil credits like in your sample run takes luck with both the spawn location, and Smeeta procs (which have now been changed with the Retriever mods - now it's more consistent, but you're not going to get this kind of luck). Chroma's effigy only has a 10m radius which is extremely tiny and finicky, so again, you need that luck for spawn location. Also, I had an issue with running out of life support, so I either had to extract, or significantly lower efficiency by running around to replenish it from the nodes. I only got about 3 mil per 20 minute run with booster + blessing. SP Circulus, meanwhile... Don't need Chroma and Effigy, so you're not relying on a really finicky mechanic and a lucky spawn point. You can run Nekros with Desecrate, so you can stay at 100% life support the entire run. You also get Lua Thrax Plasm, which is extra arcanes. You get Intact Sentient Cores, which is also extra arcanes. Credits end up being the same at 3 mil per 20 minute run, so... Good strategy, but anyone looking to farm credits with the Secura Lecta should try a few runs of both and compare which works better for them. Personally, I found Circulus + Nekros a lot less annoying - about the same amount of credits, don't have to mess around with Effigy placement and life support, and more plat as a bonus (especially if you happen to have a resource booster). Oh, and consider dropping Melee Fortification for Melee Influence.
Damn this took me all the way back to 2016 lol. I remember my friend and I running chroma, vauban and nekros on Akkad before the index was a thing. Vauban use was what ensnare is used for in the vid and yall already know what nekros was for except back then his desecrate ability wasn’t a set and forget ability, we had to press his 3 every time manually lol
If they banned people for this (which they won't) they would have to ban anyone who even touched the weapon. Since just using the the secura lecta normally can cause the "exploit" aswell. Secura lecta + any grouping ability.
@@Handle-this-15 Exploit is precisely abusing a mechanic to gain unfair/unintended advantage. This is cleary a exploit, the mechanic is a extra credit drop, forcing a specific animation that make a specific status trick the game code to think that the enemy is dying multiple times, is exactly what an exploit is. Exploit =/= cheat, exploit =/= bug.
The most difficult thing is to find a proper place for the guardian. In a week, I couldn't find the same place as in the video. And in other places, he dies and interferes with the farm.
I would like to add this doesn't really work anymore with the introduction of jade light eximus back in jade shadow update as every time I try to do this setup I just get destroyed by those eximus every time.
I tried this with Chroma and didn't get the astronomical credits from the video. So instead I got my Nyx with Ensnare and Assimilate augment, a Chesa Kubrow with Loyal Retriever, two Credit booster (from Market and Relay) and a Chroma spectre, plus I made a mix of the build of this video with mine, which uses Galvanized Elementalist, CO, Primed Reach, Lasting Sting, Berserker Fury, Volcanic Edge, Virulent Scourge and WW. The Arcane I use if Melee Influence, and my Nyx has a Range+Duration+Strength build but NO Overextended so she can armor strip the Acolytes and kill them in seconds. Oh, and don't forget to give your operator the Magus Anomaly Arcane. It's a fun and chill build which can carry you as long as you want. And the place I choose is Selkie, Sedna since the enemies there are Level 140+.
Don't think DE won't bother doing anything about this. Pretty sure it will be OK. Don't seem that crazy since you can earn 1mil credits in 2 to 3 mins on profit taker. Cool find & ty for sharing.
@GianfrancoSuriano it is being compared to PT, I can see your point but it is still wildly inferior for credit farming, is not like is not worth doing, is just that the returns are not comparable, for the time spent, I'd rather do PT on a 2x event, farm 100 million and not worry about credits for a very long time. Bringing a s. Lecta + nekros just doesn't seem fun at all.
Unless you swap your weapons every day and want to max like 100 riven mods I think realistically speaking credits are just a non factor for most players these days. Doing 30 minute Index whenever some special boosts are available is likely going to last you for a long time. Other than that you get so many credits just on the side these days, if you happen to get a booster + blessing you can get insane amounts of credits while e.g. farming for lua thrax anyway.
@GianfrancoSuriano well this method I think might be way worse if you are not alone or your whole groups plays for it which is probably hard to find. And playing solo when farming Voruna or especially when playing a fissure is definentely not optimal.
its a long time since I builded a Kit gun. I crafted it and wanted to gilde it but instead I threw it away with all the arcane slots/catalys installed. Here we go again....
I thought dark sectors credit bonus was a multiplier at the end of the mission, wich would be bonkers for a grind like this despite maybe don't having a good tileset/spawn rate or even maybe the infested only having the "shatter" death animation, with no additional frames that can be affected by status. But its just a flat multiplier to the missions payout, it only considers starting level of enemies. Sure, it can still be more credits at the end of the day, but like just 20k ish or maybe more in the steel path, it's a small difference by itself that may involve risk of botching the whole operation xD
How much enemies should i generally leave and is there another mission where this might be more effective? Is titan just a general mission or could sedna grineer defense also be viable due to tankier enemies to hold on to the stacks etc.
From what I've seen of successful videos, I think there are always at least 10 enemies. Rather than intentionally leaving enemies alive, it's important to choose a tile where there will naturally be a lot of enemies remaining. More efficient tiles might be found in other Grineer or Orokin Survival.
also good idea if you have them to use eximus ancient specter since they have 90% dmg reduction in my 20 run they never interfied with spawning or enemy aggro
put this together as well because it seemed fun but for some reason I cant keep up the survival.. they barely drop the thing that gives survival % and I have to run for lifesupport all the time, hardly making it over 5-7 minutes and I have no idea why.. is there something that gives dropchance for that or anything that i missed?

The boosters don't boost the chance of life support modules, but Nekros does. Since Retrieve is a weaker version of Desecrate, Chesa Kubrow may be helpful.

Frames that enhance survivability and additional Ensnare would be useful. I've seen a post that say that status procs by clients don't work, so the host may need to use Secura Lecta.
I wonder what Valence Formation could do on a Gas Lecta... Forcing Electric with Formation for Melee Influence. If it clears fast enough the credit boost from Chroma could maybe be outpaced?
Killing too quickly leads to worse results. I thought about using Melee Vortex while making it compatible with Electricity by adding Magnetic, but I realized his passive doesn't go well with the short ability duration in the first place.
@@jWFlab have you tried the setup with a manifold bond nautilus grouping enemies with tether repeatedly in a 30m radius ? The idea seems promising to me, though I don't have the tools yet to test it out
the the new pet update, how about using pet mod that force magnetic on hit with Melee Vortex? this could help in grouping enemies together and open some options on other helminth as well. (though I have no idea what to replace myself)

I assume that Chroma's energy colour should be set to Electric? I watched through a few times and tried Ctrl+F'ing on the guide but I didn't find mention of it.
Charm no longer has the credit and resource buff. Instead, it has its own mod Prosperous Retriever for credits and Resourceful Retriever for resources, so this farm is even better now with that beast mod and slapping on the evasive posture will help whatever beast companion stay alive longer.

Are you using the mr30 credit boost? everytime ive tried doing this im getting half the credit and pickup count, with around 25% less total kills in the same time frame. what would be reccomended for in a riven for the lecta with this method
Credit booster & blessing were used. Less kills are usually due to enemy spawns. A riven that has some of the attributes used in the build to save mod slots.
how the hell do you keep your fps doing it? when i try it i just drop to 20-30 fps cause of all the gas procs, and thats with everything disabled or as low as possible
The energy color of secura lecta was set to black. Lowering options -> accessibility -> visual effects intensity may also be helpful, though that makes the Tek zones harder to see.

Because this method is highly inconsistent, you need to learn in game, test it, discover the spots... Its better to learn Profit Taker, its 100% consistent and its almost the same amount of credit or even higher
I watched lots of these videos from Lord D0m doing this same method on SP Circulus for farming Arcanes as well. I remember one of the comments asking why he didn't do it with chromas and his 4 and he said that chromas effigy doesn't work with Secura lectas boosted credits. In your testing did you see if it actually did boost credits?
As written at the end of the linked guide, the numbers were actually increased, and you can also easily confirm the boost in simulacrum. It won't work very well if placed in a bad location, so I guess that's why he misunderstood.
Chroma, Speed Nova, Effigy protector (e.g., Frost, Limbo, Volt), supporter (e.g., Wisp, Protea, Trinity) This is just a thought because I've never tried this farm method in squad. From what I've heard, only the host's Secura Lecta works, so the other three will be support roles that use abilities frequently, including gathering enemies. If, for example, headshots can trigger the desirable death animations, those three might also be tasked with killing enemies.
What are you specs? When I attempt this my frame rate is pretty stable at the beginning but around 15min in my framerate declines to about 15 to 30 fps and stays there consistently the whole time onward. I have a 3070 and ryz 5 5600x and i also cranked my settings to as low as possible.
@@jWFlab do you also get considerable slowing in pace at around the 15m mark as well? I started off with really strong credit pace like in your run but it plateud really badly once my fps kinda just stuck at 25
I'm having the same issue with my i7-1360H RTX 4050 and it happens as soon as i use lecta on the ensnared enemies with the effects and the effects are low with disabled particles
Common misconception cause people saw enemies on the map and felt they spawned further away, there was a dev stream where they confirmed it isn't the case
I tried to replicate this but I can't seem to get the same amount of credits to drop. I am using larva to group but they're still dying when standing. I can get up to 1000 credits per kill maybe but not nearly the same amount as this. Did they patch this?
I tried Larva in simulacrum, and it should work if you kill enemies after they stand up. Ensnare is better, though, because enemies don't scatter at the end of ability duration and you don't have to wait for them to stand up.

YO, since you wanna use toxin on the effigy why subsume the one isnt that the only way you chose the element on the effigy? Which ability is swappable with Khoras? Oh and also why the secondary? Did i miss something?
The element at the start of the mission is determined by Chroma's first emissive color, so all three abilities except Effigy are swappable. Any weapon that can kill Acolytes quickly will do. The sporelacer is just one example.
That can happen when you are in a place where it is difficult to gather many enemies, for example because some enemies pulled by Ensnare get stuck on obstacles. If that happens even though there are a lot of enemies, you can consider using a build that deals more damage.
If "fly everywhere" means that you move a lot when killing an enemy, then facing the direction of an enemy with more health left will prevent that from happening.
@@timyolol the enemies going flying are because they are too close to effigy. as for 8 mill in 20 mins.. i just tried this with the weekend booster and i only got 4 mill as well
Banning players for using exploits or unintended mechanics is on the list of "the most stupid things a developer can do". I hate cheaters with all my soul, but when i see someone who discovered an exploit i can only be impressed. Player have so much interest in your game so he spend hours or even days discovering all these little details and putting them together and you, a developer, ban him for this? Or take away the results of his hard work? Patch or tweak exploits if they are game breaking, but don't spit in the face of your loving community.
Tbf banning for abusing exploits should be a case by case issue. This "exploit"? I'd say banning is definitely unfair. Exploiting to get outside of the map and be unkillable while you afk? Definitely bannable imo

1999 added Magnetic Rush, a melee mod that adds magnetic damage as well as 20% attack speed. This is a must have now to go mith melee vortex

This is a mechanic not an exploit and it's not even close to the most effective or efficient credit farm. This was meta like 6-7 years ago

This is cleary a exploit, the mechanic is a extra credit drop, forcing a specific animation that make a specific status trick the game code to think that the enemy is dying multiple times, is exactly what an exploit is. Exploit =/= cheat, exploit =/= bug.

I tried this with Chroma and didn't get the astronomical credits from the video.
So instead I got my Nyx with Ensnare and Assimilate augment, a Chesa Kubrow with Loyal Retriever, two Credit booster (from Market and Relay) and a Chroma spectre, plus I made a mix of the build of this video with mine, which uses Galvanized Elementalist, CO, Primed Reach, Lasting Sting, Berserker Fury, Volcanic Edge, Virulent Scourge and WW.
The Arcane I use if Melee Influence, and my Nyx has a Range+Duration+Strength build but NO Overextended so she can armor strip the Acolytes and kill them in seconds. Oh, and don't forget to give your operator the Magus Anomaly Arcane.
It's a fun and chill build which can carry you as long as you want. And the place I choose is Selkie, Sedna since the enemies there are Level 140+.

@GianfrancoSuriano it is being compared to PT, I can see your point but it is still wildly inferior for credit farming, is not like is not worth doing, is just that the returns are not comparable, for the time spent, I'd rather do PT on a 2x event, farm 100 million and not worry about credits for a very long time. Bringing a s. Lecta + nekros just doesn't seem fun at all.
Unless you swap your weapons every day and want to max like 100 riven mods I think realistically speaking credits are just a non factor for most players these days.
Doing 30 minute Index whenever some special boosts are available is likely going to last you for a long time. Other than that you get so many credits just on the side these days, if you happen to get a booster + blessing you can get insane amounts of credits while e.g. farming for lua thrax anyway.
@GianfrancoSuriano well this method I think might be way worse if you are not alone or your whole groups plays for it which is probably hard to find. And playing solo when farming Voruna or especially when playing a fissure is definentely not optimal.

its a long time since I builded a Kit gun. I crafted it and wanted to gilde it but instead I threw it away with all the arcane slots/catalys installed. Here we go again....
I thought dark sectors credit bonus was a multiplier at the end of the mission, wich would be bonkers for a grind like this despite maybe don't having a good tileset/spawn rate or even maybe the infested only having the "shatter" death animation, with no additional frames that can be affected by status. But its just a flat multiplier to the missions payout, it only considers starting level of enemies. Sure, it can still be more credits at the end of the day, but like just 20k ish or maybe more in the steel path, it's a small difference by itself that may involve risk of botching the whole operation xD

How much enemies should i generally leave and is there another mission where this might be more effective? Is titan just a general mission or could sedna grineer defense also be viable due to tankier enemies to hold on to the stacks etc.
From what I've seen of successful videos, I think there are always at least 10 enemies.
Rather than intentionally leaving enemies alive, it's important to choose a tile where there will naturally be a lot of enemies remaining. More efficient tiles might be found in other Grineer or Orokin Survival.
also good idea if you have them to use eximus ancient specter since they have 90% dmg reduction
in my 20 run they never interfied with spawning or enemy aggro
put this together as well because it seemed fun but for some reason I cant keep up the survival.. they barely drop the thing that gives survival % and I have to run for lifesupport all the time, hardly making it over 5-7 minutes and I have no idea why.. is there something that gives dropchance for that or anything that i missed?
Poor enemy spawning causes that.

The boosters don't boost the chance of life support modules, but Nekros does. Since Retrieve is a weaker version of Desecrate, Chesa Kubrow may be helpful.

I've seen a post that say that status procs by clients don't work, so the host may need to use Secura Lecta.
I wonder what Valence Formation could do on a Gas Lecta... Forcing Electric with Formation for Melee Influence. If it clears fast enough the credit boost from Chroma could maybe be outpaced?
Killing too quickly leads to worse results.
I thought about using Melee Vortex while making it compatible with Electricity by adding Magnetic, but I realized his passive doesn't go well with the short ability duration in the first place.

Not very suitable because the location of grouped enemies change frequently.
the the new pet update, how about using pet mod that force magnetic on hit with Melee Vortex? this could help in grouping enemies together and open some options on other helminth as well. (though I have no idea what to replace myself)
Melee Vortex itself is good, but I think it would be difficult to keep gathering enemies without Ensnare.
Nautilus has Cordon you don't need Ensnare and you can put gas + cold on him too with guaranteed cold aoe proc.

That is to minimize the impact on kill speed. The difference may not be large, though.

Does the change to Charm in the Companions 2.0 affect this build in any way?
Charm no longer has the credit and resource buff. Instead, it has its own mod Prosperous Retriever for credits and Resourceful Retriever for resources, so this farm is even better now with that beast mod and slapping on the evasive posture will help whatever beast companion stay alive longer.
It's interesting to use this on Void Fissure with its additional credit booster, although nullifiers will interfere

Are you using the mr30 credit boost? everytime ive tried doing this im getting half the credit and pickup count, with around 25% less total kills in the same time frame. what would be reccomended for in a riven for the lecta with this method
Credit booster & blessing were used. Less kills are usually due to enemy spawns.
A riven that has some of the attributes used in the build to save mod slots.
If I had gone in a Relay and played with credit blessing, it would have given more credits.
how the hell do you keep your fps doing it? when i try it i just drop to 20-30 fps cause of all the gas procs, and thats with everything disabled or as low as possible

The energy color of secura lecta was set to black.
Lowering options -> accessibility -> visual effects intensity may also be helpful, though that makes the Tek zones harder to see.

Because this method is highly inconsistent, you need to learn in game, test it, discover the spots... Its better to learn Profit Taker, its 100% consistent and its almost the same amount of credit or even higher

Since higher damage is not necessary, a riven mod like two mods in one would be good enough.
Attack speed, status chance, range perhaps
Range is best. either of the 3 elements to complete Gas+electric would be nice. status duration is also ideal for this setup.

I watched lots of these videos from Lord D0m doing this same method on SP Circulus for farming Arcanes as well. I remember one of the comments asking why he didn't do it with chromas and his 4 and he said that chromas effigy doesn't work with Secura lectas boosted credits. In your testing did you see if it actually did boost credits?
As written at the end of the linked guide, the numbers were actually increased, and you can also easily confirm the boost in simulacrum.
It won't work very well if placed in a bad location, so I guess that's why he misunderstood.
Chroma is just to much work compared to nekros.

This is just a thought because I've never tried this farm method in squad.
From what I've heard, only the host's Secura Lecta works, so the other three will be support roles that use abilities frequently, including gathering enemies.
If, for example, headshots can trigger the desirable death animations, those three might also be tasked with killing enemies.

What are you specs? When I attempt this my frame rate is pretty stable at the beginning but around 15min in my framerate declines to about 15 to 30 fps and stays there consistently the whole time onward. I have a 3070 and ryz 5 5600x and i also cranked my settings to as low as possible.

Common misconception cause people saw enemies on the map and felt they spawned further away, there was a dev stream where they confirmed it isn't the case
I tried to replicate this but I can't seem to get the same amount of credits to drop. I am using larva to group but they're still dying when standing. I can get up to 1000 credits per kill maybe but not nearly the same amount as this. Did they patch this?
Is the larva really making that much of a difference? They're only rag-dolled momentarily.
I tried Larva in simulacrum, and it should work if you kill enemies after they stand up.
Ensnare is better, though, because enemies don't scatter at the end of ability duration and you don't have to wait for them to stand up.

YO, since you wanna use toxin on the effigy why subsume the one isnt that the only way you chose the element on the effigy? Which ability is swappable with Khoras?
Oh and also why the secondary? Did i miss something?
The element at the start of the mission is determined by Chroma's first emissive color, so all three abilities except Effigy are swappable.
Any weapon that can kill Acolytes quickly will do. The sporelacer is just one example.

That can happen when you are in a place where it is difficult to gather many enemies, for example because some enemies pulled by Ensnare get stuck on obstacles.
If that happens even though there are a lot of enemies, you can consider using a build that deals more damage.

If "fly everywhere" means that you move a lot when killing an enemy, then facing the direction of an enemy with more health left will prevent that from happening.

Banning players for using exploits or unintended mechanics is on the list of "the most stupid things a developer can do". I hate cheaters with all my soul, but when i see someone who discovered an exploit i can only be impressed. Player have so much interest in your game so he spend hours or even days discovering all these little details and putting them together and you, a developer, ban him for this? Or take away the results of his hard work? Patch or tweak exploits if they are game breaking, but don't spit in the face of your loving community.
Tbf banning for abusing exploits should be a case by case issue. This "exploit"? I'd say banning is definitely unfair. Exploiting to get outside of the map and be unkillable while you afk? Definitely bannable imo
8:08 taking that as true then switch players are probably s.o.l. Because of the fps hard cap it seems to have on many games, including warframe.
