You need to learn what a speed square is and also go to a hardware store and buy a door handle no need for all the cuts. Keep working ,experience comes with practice, good luck.
Dude you need to watch more UA-cam videos to make clean cuts and sand those ruff cuts off. There are a lot of videos on how to make nice push blocks from shop scraps.
I wouldn't use any metal screws in my push block..just use glue... what happens if your saw or router bit goes deep and hits a screw?
