Nice job on your first pocket letter. I even make these for non crafty people. For my hubby who loves fishing, I made one with fishing paper, stickers, die cuts etc and in the center pocket I put a gift card for his favorite fishing store. I also did one for a dog lover with dog paper stickers pictures and the names of their dogs on the outside. It works for crafty and non crafty people. They are a great craft..happy crafting

Welcome to the world of pocket letters Tracey! I really enjoy pocket letters and I can assure you it doesn't really take a long time after you start doing it. I always have craft item goodies to share just hanging around on my craft desk. Sometimes I will put paper in the pocket and if I want to add a sticker and it's too big for the pocket I will just stick it to the outside. This is a good look because you have the background paper and it becomes a little bit dimensional. Enjoy!

I made one for a friend who just had her first grandbaby to celebrate. Made cards as you did and then included other embellishments she could use with her photos. You could use items given in a pocket letter to create a mini album. Perhaps you could do a video making a mini album from a pocket letter received? Fun!

Surprised to see that this was your first pocket letter. I have to say I think you did a great job on it. I think they're fun too. I have 3 of them now that I just need names of people to send them to. When I get stuck on what to make I start cutting ATC cards and go from there.

I have 4 sisters and only 2 of us are crafty. So I asked my crafty sister if she'd want to do a pocket letter swap after I heard about them. She never heard of them so I had her watch a video. Then she texts me and says "what would I do with it"? Like what's it's purpose? Lol. I just shook my head. That totally ruined it for me. Lol. We live very far apart. I'm in Southern Florida and she's in Northern Utah. I thought it would have been fun. But oh well. 😢 I don't have anyone to swap with and I don't know how to get involved it happy mail swaps. I don't really have any friends who craft.
