This recipe is an easy chocolate cake recipe that is very moist . This is a quick recipe even beginners can do easily.
The Most Amazing Chocolate Cake is here
Ingredients:
NOTE: 1 CUP = 240 ML
Cake pan size = 6 inch* 3 inch.
All purpose flour - 1cup (120 grams )
Cocoa powder - ½cup (60 grams )
Sugar - 1cup (200 grams)
Baking powder - 1tsp
Baking soda - ½tsp
Salt - 1/4tsp
Egg - 1
Oil or melted butter - ¼cup (60 ml)
Curd - ½cup
Vanilla essence - 1tsp
Warm water - ½cup (120 ml)
Method:-
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F or 180 C. Butter cake rounds.
2.Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until combined.
3.Add eggs, curd, warm water, oil, and vanilla. Mix everything until combined.
4.Fill pan with cake batter.
5. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 F or 180 C , until the cake meets the toothpick test (stick a toothpick in and it comes out clean).
6. Cool for 15 minutes and then turn out the cakes and allow to cool completely.

For anybody lactose intolerance,l switched the oil to coconut oil and the curd to coconut cream. This recipe looks like it would lend itself well to being cooked by the steaming method,no oven needed.l steam a lot of breads and cakes and have learned which recipes are likely to work well.❤️❤️👍👍😀😀

@@JohannaMoses Yes. Buttermilk is great in baked goods...pancakes too! However, I've used yogurt in my cake recipe and it was just as moist. That's all I had on hand at the time. Hope that helps. Cheers!

I made this today. My family love it! It is moist and don't have baking soda taste like others do. I substitute curd (don't know what it is anyway) to cottage cheese blend. Substitute water to coffee+ milk. Top with chocolate ganache. SO GOOD!

Yeah no fancy equipment which I don't have... I can give this a go it's doable.
For anybody lactose intolerant, I switched the oil to coconut oil and the curd to coconut cream.

Hello, I just tried this recipe today and it turned out to be the best I’ve ever done. But then, I used yogurt instead of curd , I used sweetened yogurt but it turned out to be a little bit too sweet. Is there a way I can reduce the sugar? Can I make the sugar 1/2 cup instead of a cup when next I wanna try it?

Yes. If you are using sweetened yogurt you can reduce the amount of sugar1/2 cup to 3/4 cup, but if you are using unsweetened then use 1 cup of sugar😊
I never add the amount of sugar I always use less,if 1 cup I do 1/2 c...or less ...It's fine
