Ah never mind I read it right I got it
i just got a set of 16.5 feet lights and was wondering if i cut them can i use the part that is cut off or is that part dead?
If you cut them then you would have to solder it back on to it. melt the metal and have them connect again.

Think of it this way as 1 wire
One end is hooked to battery anything that’s removed from that line won’t have power
So no you’d won’t work’ lots of lights that allow you to “add” more length with little connectors
Lol when i use the color mode only a quarter of the strip lights up but when its on just bkue the whole thing lights up 😂
