This is the only kind of hunting I watch. The algorithm always suggests videos of people hunting cougars, coyotes etc but I find them cruel. This, on the other hand is a genuine public service.
Coyotes are a problem and should be included in the public service category. I am with you though no one should kill an animal unless it's for population control. Like deer and boar and rabbits and cats and iguana.pretty much any invasives
From watching all the ratting videos previously and here, it's evident Bindi is turning out to be an efficient hunter. She has the prey drive, tenacity, listens to commands(an very important factor), a nose made for sniffing out prey, fearless of hunting prey and has no issues going into whatever environment she's put. Bindi's size and characteristics is perfectly suited to Joe's line of work, and she continually impresses with her skills.
I am reminded of a farmer I knew a few decades ago. He pastured his hogs and supplemented with grain daily. He said he always had four to eight rat terriers hunted the rats around the feed troughs daily. He said their work saved him a large amount of money every year by keeping the rodent population in check.

Hello, watching the dogs work in there element was incredible. At first it looks like total chaos but as you watch there’s a method to your madness Joe it is poetry in motion. Catching all of those rats on that one farm, wow I! So you think about how much food the rats eat, and how much of the grain is left for the farmer to use to support his farm it’s crazy. I can’t understand why people don’t just use the old method. Which is a handler and his dogs . Thank you for bringing us along. Kathy
The dogs/mink team dynamic is so awesome and fascinating to see on these ratting hunts, something I'll never get tired of. The smaller dogs will get right in to the thick of the action by sniffing them out(Bindi probably has the best nose) and finding the source, while the larger one(Boss) usually hangs back and pick off the strays and runners and then the mink/s are unleashed into the nooks and crannies to catch or flush out the remaining rats in hiding. They(dogs and mink/s) all know their strengths/weaknesses, play their part and work together in harmony without any infighting. It may seem chaotic during these ratting hunts, but boy do they get the job done! Amazing work on Joe's part to assemble such a team and it's no small feat to get 2 different types of predators(dogs/minks) to work together and make it look so easy.

“HELLO! MY NAMES DOG! YOUR NAMES DINNER!”
Rat: sees a menacing dog*
“😌I will die, in a matter of moments, that’s FINE.”
My friend. Been watching you for years. Really awesome to see you work with others.
Love your videos man. Keep up the hard work. Love your worker pets 🐶
The "Rat Wars" outro! 😆
Haha, both Leeroy and Dave caught their first rats! (barehand for Dave) Congrats! 😆🐀
And forever and always, Boss' nickname shall be Captain *_KRUNCH_* 🤣🤣🤣
Oh love that Dave is with you today. Love your content and those dogs, God love em!
The importance of keeping a clean farm seems key to both keeping rats out and helping the dogs if they do multiply.

The look on Bindi's face when you tell her to bring Boss' rat to the bucket- "Why do I have to clean up his mess? Fine.🙄" Such a good girl, Bindi!
