Hi, Can you help me? I tried frosted and clear glass. Sadly, only frosted glass works and the design did not even stick on the clear glass. Do you have any idea why? My supplier told me two types of glass cups can be sublimated. Thank you
Hey there, honestly, it is probably that the clear one does not have a sublimation coating. There are lots of listings I've seen that say sublimation but are not actually sublimation blanks.

Hey there, I'm trying to do the glass tumblers, and I've tried 2, and they both did not turn out right. I am using A-sub paper, and it's leaving a white residue, and the design is not vibrant at all. The last one I did, I did for 3 minutes and 370 degrees, and it leaves that residue and shows tape marks. It's like you have to peel the paper off. It doesn't just come off like regular tumblers. What do you think the problem may be. Thanks 😊
Hey there! I am trying to figure out how to sublimate on my glass cups. Unfortunately I am having zero luck and it keeps printing on the tape instead. Any advice?
Hey there! You need to make sure that you have cups with a sublimation coating. I would also make sure your tape is on the outside of the sublimation print.
I have another question. I keep getting tape lines on my sublimation glass cans. I’ve tried 3 different tapes including cricut brand. Also I’ve adjust the pressure and the temp as well with no change. The pressure on my machine I can close with 1 finger. It’s pretty effortless. Any advice ? I’m about to give up 😢
Hey there! I would try a different sublimation paper. We like this one! www.swingdesign.com/products/prosub-premium-sublimation-heat-transfer-paper-8-5-x-11-100-sheets
@@SoFontsy I don’t print myself. I purchased printed designed from 3 different businesses and it happens with all. Out of curiosity why would the paper matter ? I only get tape lines from the pieces of tape that actually touch the glass. The pieces on the paper no issue.
Where can I buy the designs? I don’t have a sub printer ☹️ are these light glasses? I order some from China and they are light and glass feel very light
Amazing! We have those blanks too! Love your works!🥰

Hey there! I'd be interested to see what kind of blanks you're using. Sometimes it can be due to low quality sublimation coating.

Hey there, you need to make sure they're sublimation specific blanks.

Hi… where did you get your pink mug press Thanks
Swing Design! www.swingdesign.com/collections/mug-presses
That’s a lot of tape and lot of Turing? Is there press that just cover the entire glass?
Check out the tumbler press available for pre-order on our sister site Swing Design! www.swingdesign.com/search?type=product&q=tumbler+press

What's the size around
For 160z
What about a cricut mug press ? Don’t have this type of mug press :(
You definitely can! You'd want to get a silicone insert to ensure that you get proper pressure.
@@SoFontsy thank you !
Thank you for this video!! Question when I sublimate on a clear glass my designs aren’t bright. Is that normal ? Thank you
Hey there! I would make sure that you're using dedicated sublimation blanks. Otherwise the ink won't be able to infuse into the substrate.
Is this permeant on the cup?
Yes! Sublimation is permanent!
Why do you only do half?
Because we are using a mug press that cannot do a 360 degree, we press in sections to ensure even pressing and that there is not a lot of overlap.
