Hey Brett Payton, first and foremost thank you for taking the time to watch the episode and we hope that you enjoyed it. Regarding your question, it got me thinking... would you be interested in seeing more mid-show segments that feature something related to your question? It's something we could discuss including in following shows. As for your question, I got this answer from Forrest. "I'm not at the farm right now, but if I had to guess I would say 14" and 28" on the outside and 12", 25" and 36-40" on the inside. On the outside I usually go to the top of my rubber boots and just below the pocket of my jeans. Then on the inside, a little lower for both of those measurements and finally for the top wire, 6 inches below the top of my t-post." Hope this helps answer your question Brett and again thank you for the support. Have an incredible weekend!
No doubt about it! All of the hours spent planning and preparing are sure shaping up to have some big potential pay off. We can't wait to follow along step by step on how those plans come to fruition. Here's to Deer Season '22 and one step closer to opening day.
John Barnett, we're dang glad to hear it! We will continue rolling them out right into the hunting season. Thank you for the support and have an incredible weekend!
Should my friend out, LOL. That's awesome. Terry if that skid steers really jerky and touchy, especially when loaded, turn the idle in down you don't need it revved up if it goes from 1 to 10 on the idle you don't need to run any higher than seven when you're unloading that kind of stuff maybe even six and it won't be as jerky
Scott Tomlinson, we’re really thankful for you thanking the time to watch! We’re really excited to get Deer Season ‘22 rolling full bore. Best of luck to you as we continue inching closer to opening day and we hope you have a great weekend!
Ben Malone, this deer really is a special one! Hopefully all the hard work pays off and goes as planned in the fall. Stayed tuned in this season because it should be a wild one! Have a great weekend!
Season 22 or season 2 and all in between have been fun to watch the Drury Outdoors crew and families hunt, farm, work and film it all to share with other hunters. Good hunting and gods speed to the crew, families and fans. 🦌🎥💯👍🙏🏻
Joel Mcmahn, we’re dang glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed the semi live series and beyond. We’re extremely appreciative of the time you’ve taken to watch! Have an incredible weekend and best of luck as we approach opening day!
This is some great information, me and my dad are always out during the off season trying to figure out where the target bucks are, we have such an issue with our buck to doe ratio because the people around us only kill small bucks and hardly any doe’s. So it’s just really sad that we’re the only ones killing lots of doe’s and trying to kill mature bucks. Thank y’all for all the content and I will be sure to stay tuned for new videos every week.🦌
Justin John’s, to start man thank you for taking the time to watch the episode, we’re really appreciative of the time. Hopefully Deer Season 22 has some cool stories in store, we’re sure eager to find out. The off season is definitely a valuable opportunity to try to get a step ahead, hopefully you and your dad’s hard work pays off big for you guys! Have a great weekend and again, thank you for the support.
Terry, you would know better than me. But, you don't think the deer can jump over that 4-ft electric fence? Is it that they can smell or sense the electricity in it so they stay away from the fence, because I know the deer in Vermont are jumping over that, in fact they used to jump over our 6 ft tall fence to keep them out of our vegetables and corn that we used to grow to sell, as well as the milk of course our number one thing was we were a dairy farm, but we sold a ton of sweet corn a ton of potatoes a ton of peas everything really. So my question is, why don't they jump over that 4-ft fence
I sure hope you guys dont keep or get in the habit of blurring deer out and withholding the name you gave the deer too. I'm shocked to say the least....doesnt make good story telling if you blurr stuff out in fear of neighbors or whatever you did it for. Smh
It makes perfect sense. There is no need to give anything away now until he gets a chance to kill the deer. They are trying to teach not tell a story. With or without a particular deer is irrelevant to this series.
Your electric fence.... have you guys found that a certain height is best so that the deer dont jump over? Great video. Keep up the great work.

What kind of permissions do you have to do. To be able to burn your property. Like sherif ect.
U could probably ask your local fire department or just Google it
No all sudden you are keeping deer names and pics/ video clips a secret?
Interesting

@@kg06618 The whole story is around this particular deer and how they're setting up to kill him... not showing what it is makes 0 sense..
First
Melissa Chafin, we’re honored to have ya! Hope you enjoy the episode and a huge thank you for taking the time to watch. Have a great weekend!
I thought you Drury guys were dodge ram guys?
