- Building A Pond And Managing Plot Pressure With Terry Drury, Matt’s Dialing In His New Farm | Deer Season 23
On this episode of Deer Season ‘23, we are headed up to Matt Drury’s new farm for some pre-season work. Matt and Scott run into a couple of problems but continue to check off boxes with plans of being ready for the fall.
We then tag along with Forrest Bonin and Terry Drury. Terry explains his strategy behind managing browse pressure on one of his bean fields.
Following this, Terry shows us his new pond and tells us the reasoning behind the placement and depth.
We appreciate everyone that has been staying up to date with the DS23 series. We hope everyone has a safe and fun summer. Fingers crossed for more rain!!

I am really looking forward to seeing the Drury crew shooting some beautiful whitetails this 2023 season, good luck you all
Thank you!
Mineral sites are always fun to make. Very clever using the electric to keep some groceries in the field until deer season, and the pond looks great. You guys have it going on!
Is matt,s new farm in ralls County .
Just out of center mo.?
I swear I hunted that farm. I use to hang deer in the old rock barn
It's sucks for me those types of camera setups would never work for me because you put a camera anywhere nears a bears reach it will be down in a week
Wouldn't mind a list of materials used for Hotwire! ite woody
Awesome content!!!
Glad you enjoyed it Aaron!
The knife is not that convenient we don't carry blades with us either. We solved this problem over 100 years ago, just sharpen your knife when it needs it for crying out loud.
