I love Talking Stick! Been there twice and both times ran it up big at 1-3 and 2-5. The action there is loose and the folks who play there on a regular are very friendly.
Talking Stick is my home casino, i saw the name "Mariano" on the 5-600 list and wondered if that was you! Turns out it was! Wish i woulda gotten to meet you
So I think a lot of people just have this concept that you should never bluff into a dry side pot which I think is a bit of a misconception. In multiway pots with 1 all in there's a few strategies I like to use. When we bet into a dry side pot a lot of the time we can be doing it from an equity denial standpoint. If the all in v is as wide as Q5o, then A6 is going to be way ahead of that range so we can bet small to deny equity, or possibly even triple barrel (if we're feeling gutsy and have strong reads) to build a side pot and knock him off it if we know v is likely to chase draws. If the jamming V is a little more linear and consists of a lot of Broadway and Ax, we can bet with our small pairs and AK, AQ on low runouts. Another strategy is to just minraise the all in so you get better postflop playability with any V that chooses to call and play poker from there, obviously you only really want to do this with hands that are ahead of the jamming range.
Watching the poker vids, training the game all while listening to music that makes me sharp and able to achieve. I like Delta Parole, AFi, etc as music, what you guys listen to focus I am curious?

Have you considered a move to the Phoenix area? Action across Arizona is extremely soft and the cost of living is insanely low compared to California.. gas is also a dollar less a gallon
Heading there a 8 weeks, hoping a couple more rooms open up by then. I've only had one session in Talking Sticks, and it didn't go that great, so hoping for a better outcome this time
My local casino just reopened yesterday, but not the poker room. I wouldn't be surprised if it never reopens and they use the space for more slot machines.
Are you going to start running meet up games or announce your travel plans further in advance? Play at talking stick all the time and love your content but didnt know you were gonna be in town till after the vid. Great post as always
