Been looking forwards to a video of these for a while. Got quite a lot of familial roots in Chepstow and Wales itself. Good to hear them!
William evans and william dobson bells sound pretty much Simpson tuned bells
My abiding memory of these is nice bells but inaudible inside. I did have a video of these outside - I'm not sure if it's still on my channel somewhere!
@@simonbellringer Yeah they are very nice to ring, but hard to hear in the ringing chamber, and stupidly loud outside!
Dove's has these down as Eb+, they're a bit too high for that.
Yeah they are. I'm also perfect pitch, so I can straight away tell what key they're in. Definitely not Eb
James Joynson agree
Actually It’s (639.0Hz) so When it’s 640 642 that’s the borderline
@@RingerThomas I'd actually have the borderline from Eb+ to E- from 638.5-640.0Hz.
If u look on my video of All Hallows’ they sound borderline
Wow these look very cheap.....get it?
They're hung in an RJ frame
James Joynson i meant because it’s called CHEPstow
