- Go behind the scenes with Master Spas owner Nick Terrell and see how he installed a Trainer 15 D swim spa on a deck. Installed next to an existing second-floor deck, the swim spa is part of the family’s entertaining space while being convenient to the house for winter use.
The homeowner, who built the deck himself, offers tips for how he expanded the deck and made sure the structure could support the weight of the swim spa.
In this backyard tour, you will also learn:

The H2X Fitness Swim Spa is a swimming pool alternative that can fit in almost any yard. Installation is quick and easy, taking less than a day to install once your space is ready. All that’s required is a solid, level surface that can handle the weight of the swim spa with water (around 20,000 lbs.), GFCI hook-up completed by a licensed electrician and a garden hose to fill it up. Learn more about how you can start enjoying the warm, swirling water of your own Master Spas Swim Spa.

Good review thanks.
Nice install, what type or brand of cover lifter are you using? Do you like them? Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing this. Very helpful looks great!
We would like to build a similar decking system for the spa. Who can we talk to? Is Nick available for reference?
I'm working on designing my concrete pad area for the exact same swim spa and thinking about steps up to the spa. What concerns are there to be able to remove the panels on either of the long sides?
Where do you live? Did you get to use it year round? What temperature do you have it set at and how much additional is your electricity bill?
This install is located in northern Indiana and they do use it year-round. I'm not sure what temperature they choose to keep it at, but it goes up to 99 degrees Fahrenheit. We also have a monthly cost calculator at the bottom of this page: www.masterspas.com/energy-efficient-hot-tubs
Hopefully this helps a bit!
