Good question, Ernest. First, let me mention that, like salt-water pools, Endless Pools require just a little chlorine. Our pools all use an inexpensive mineral sanitizer that lets you can keep the water crystal clear with less chlorine than is allowable in tap water, so it's very gentle on your skin and hair. We don't recommend salt systems for the Endless Pool. The salt will corrode many of the components required to create our signature swim current. Fortunately, you will still find maintenance on an Endless Pool to be significantly easier and more affordable than with a traditional pool. Thanks for your interest!

I'm a varsity swimmer and I was doing a mile plus three times a week at 24 Hour Fitness, till Miss Corona kicked me out of all their pools. Waaa!
