Ah, Looking at these cabbage leaves makes me think to my childhood memories of wrapping them with mom - My mother always makes cabbage rolls with pork.
They're classical, traditional part of our cuisine: soft, big leaves stuffed with minced pork mixed with one egg, a little bit rice and seasonings. It's important to pre-steam the leaves first so they are flexible, and stuff them tight like you did with asparagus!
Traditionally, they're braised in thick tomato and mushroom sauce, but my mom always fries them first - sweet cabbage sears on surface and caramellized a bit. When slow cooking all of them packed in a big pot with the sauce, meat juices and caramellized cabbage, together with mushrooms enrich it with sweet and savory flavour.

My rice cooker has a steamer lid, so I tend to cook everything for my bento right in it. I'll usually cook veggies with the rice, plus my side dishes in the steamer. By that point, the only things I gotta cook separate are my tamagoyaki or hard boiled egg, or anything that has to be cooked in a pan.

I love making meals in my rice cooker! Especially in the summer when it is so hot and I want a nice meal without having to turn on the stove. Chicken and mushrooms with rice is one of my favorites, but I also like making mayak eggs on the weekend, and I add dried shiitake mushrooms to the mayak marinade. Then when I set up the rice cooker the night before to make rice for breakfast, I add some of the mayak mushrooms and marinade to my rice. It's so delicious!

Ahh, you do work from home! I always worried for you, doing so much work first thing in the morning and then doing a commute to work after would be very tiring, I'm happy to know that you don't have to go anywhere after all that preparation.
My favourite bento this week was the final one. The rice looked delicious and the fish cake was adorable; when you gave it a flower my heart was squeezed ^o^ I have a very basic rice cooker, it just has an on and off switch 😅 So I don't know if I'd be able to try any of these cooking methods but it looks like it made everything super quick and easy. I've long lost the instructions for the rice cooker so I probably won't try it for fear of getting it terribly wrong!
Those Doraemon treats look delicious! I hope they were as tasty as I think they were 😃

I'm Canadian, my rice cooker has a glass lid and one button. Its either cooking or keeping warm. Other than rice, I have only ever cooked quinoa in it. I don't know if it would stay on cook mode long enough to cook meat or vegetables or a soup.
