Getting more storage would mean you’d have to go to a much larger ship. I loved my Taurus. Wish I’d kept it. It’s a Corsair now. But I did get an Andromida as well because it has similar hard points to the Corsair but DOUBLE the haul HP. And it’s a missile boat. Much lower range tho for QT. I have always thought the manned turret should be swapped with a remote turret and have it controlled by the copilot. The space where the turret’s seat drops down can then be turned into a lavatory.
I really hope CIG never listens to these types of comments. Not every single ship needs a remote turret, or a medbay, or 500 missiles. This is a Drake ship. It’s built for functionality and ease of maintenance. Remote turret especially for a ship like this makes no sense. It’s like saying an old Corolla should have automatic parking.
@@fidel4023 what makes no sense are ships with beds not having a toilet. The presence of a bed indicates the manufacturer intended for the ship to be capable of being operated for over 24 hours straight. Real life multiple engine cargo planes more often than not have some form of toilet. Think to the last time you flew, were you glad there was a lavatory available? My comment was to point out how a lavatory could get installed on the Drake Cutlass. The Drake Corsair has a copilot operated remote turret on it, so saying it won’t fit because it is a Drake ship doesn’t work as a reason to not make the change.

The Cutlass Black is the Huey/Blackhawk of Star Citizen, a great ship that can do just about everything. I do hope we get a gold pass on this ship soon given how popular it is.
Props to the Cutlasses 22 maneuvering thrusters. My Freelancer takes any damage to a main thruster, and it spins in circles instantly (unless I reduce power to the good thruster to match the damaged one).
I'm not a Drake man, and I have no interest in expanding my fleet beyond my Mule and Vulture, but their look is just iconic. I love to see them in the verse, in armistice at least, and I do hope that the base mode of a given Drake continues to be the cheapest ship for that tier so that we continue to see plenty of them in the 'verse.
My only issue with this ship was the screens blocking my view while in flight. The seat needed to be slightly raised or the screens brought in closer and slightly lowered. Loved the ship, but chose to upgrade due to that one thing.
I've tried to move to other ships (Freelancer & Spirit) and honestly the Cutlass Black just doesn't have any competition at the moment when it comes to fulfilling a combined role of A2A and ground combat. It's a truly versatile ship which honestly lacks competition when it comes to the area of combat. Yes, some of its airframe is very vulnerable but the utility it brings to the table is simply second to none. I would love a reason to abandon the Cutty but in that price range and size category there's simply nothing else.
The longer I played Star Citizen, the more I came to appreciate the Cutlass Black, until eventually I added one to my permanent fleet. It’s a fantastic daily driver, incredibly versatile. There’s a lot to love about it for all sorts of gameplay loops, and I find myself using one regularly.
This and the Taurus are my favorites. If I had only one ship, it would be the Cutlass. I did not know that they moved the tractor! I need to play with that. At the same time they could have converted the manned turret to a bathroom. I agree with you on that.
ever since we got the c1 I've been seeing a sort of decline in the cutlass black being seen around outposts and such. The best thing the Cutlass ever got is the reworked shield and hull HP which came when the Scorpius was released. The Cutlass Black was king from the beginning of Star Citizen until it got a major nerf which lasted for several patches. Yes... and what the point ?
Hey mate, just a small tip to captivate the audience --- when you narrate the first 10 seconds of the video. Have you thought about overlaying your voice onto the NEXT visual segment showing the ship from many different angles? Its far more engaging to watch the ship as a viewer rather than you standing there with the ship blurred out in the background for the first x amount of seconds! Love the video overall
It's a multi-tool ship, you can do almost anything in it...............except go to the toilet😖.............will just have to hold it in😣
Just pick an unused corner if it’s that urgent
@@EvenLease44 Maybe CIG can give us poop bags or potties
I just wish it wasn’t such a fuel hog
Yet another SC UA-camr. What a surprise.
They've got to get you hyped to buy those jpegs. 😂
I prefer people buy them in game instead of using real money.
Awesome ships, shitty game... I hope some efficient leader comes to SC soon... If not...
I wasted 5 minutes of my life not watching this!
And I will forever think the cutter looks like it has a big butt
only 5 min in 3.23.1 to discover it's fully broken. almost unplayable. Since I doubt about the project issue. More time to succeed ? what a joke.
- NO TOILET
the 3.24 cutlass black is absolute dogwater. they ruined the cool cockpit and made it some stinky orange soviet crap that has annoying ticking and cockpit noises that are unbearable.
Thanks for letting me know! Sounds like it needs a new look for people to see what it has become.
noob ship
