I save space by working out one-sided with one dumbbell and a door chin-up bar. I do push-ups too. My lower body workout is only: lunges, walking fast, hiking hills, and flights of stairs. The only equipment that I use on the lower body is a mini-stair stepper for if the weather is to crappy to go for a hike or walk. So, my set-up takes no space and travels well. Some folks would say that ain't much of a workout. I would say if you do it hard enough... I could tell you what you had for lunch after about 30 minutes😂👍🇺🇸
@@MattTolbers Yes sir! If I do heavier weight in a press or curl....I will use 2 because you can push your back out if not careful. My setup is so simple and cheap, nobody has an excuse to not do it. No matter if it is an off day supplement to the gym or all you do.👍🇺🇸
Hello, can you please tell me how wide the metal is that attaches to the wall. I see the depth that holds the bars is 5.4", need the width of the backet that touches the wall
Are those curl bars the longer rackable bars or standard length. Trying to figure out how far apart to put the brackets. Looks like you lined up the plastic supports with the smooth rings on the red Rogue bar.
@@MattTolbers Figured it out. Mounted brackets holes 33" apart. I made a mistake not drilling into concrete far enough. Bent the wedge anchor and one nut won't go on. Didn't realize you're supposed to drill twice as deep as anchor length.
The lag screws are around 32 1/2 inches apart. You gotta put them into the studs so whatever distance your studs are which should be around 32 ish inches.
What else do you guys use to save space in your gym? Links in description.

Nice, that definitely won’t take up much space. Doing one dumbbell at a time will definitely workout them stabilizing muscle!

They are regular size curl bars. Just make sure to measure the bars and placement on wall so you get the brackets in the right place.

Dang, we’ll glad you got it figured out!
How many inches apart did you use to install??

What size bolts do you use for the band & belt holder?
3/8” lag screws 2 to 2-1/2”
