Knowing when to speak and when to listen all boils down to what people have to say. In certain topics wherein you think you can learn something then you listen but when you feel you can add to a conversation then you speak- don’t just talk for the sake of hearing yourself speak- you have to be able to add value with the information you’re putting out there. I agree with Karen Gallman's answer. There's a reason why the restrooms for men and women are separated, and that is to prevent the *possibility* of sexual assaults inside restrooms. I'm not saying that transgender women will do that thing to women, but you cannot deny the *possibility* of straight male sexual predators using this as means to infiltrate a place that is supposed to be a safe space for women. A straight man could just cross-dress, (if he's questioned, he can just tell people that he identifies as a woman), and then, he can freely walk inside the women's restroom. Young women are the most vulnerable ones. How can we compromise with this? By building a third, separate restroom for transgender people where both biological men and women are not allowed. It would also be the safe space for transgender people who are not comfortable to do their business in both the men's and women's restroom.

IMO the girls have the knowledge or ideas about these questions, but as a filipino not using english language everyday, I know they have these ideas but theyre having a hard time looking for those perfect english words or sentences to use and the timer gave them more pressure that made them uncomftable. Well except for Sandra Lemonon because as what she said, she misheared the question as bill bill bill instead of build build build. And Catriona ofcourse, the total package, and the fact that shes fluent in english, shes smart and everything, I mean its her night indeed.
I don't think that it is a good excuse for BBP candidates to flunk on a question just because it is in English. Most of these women are educated, and in the Philippines' education system, there's a big emphasis in learning English at a young age. English fluency gives you big advantages, not only in beauty pageants, but also in working globally. We already are being taught English in elementary schools, so if they just paid more attention to what are being taught by their English teachers in elementary and high school, then answering English questions would be easier for them.
