Thank you for your post. Question: I have my watering cycle set for all zones, however, I want to add additional water days to "only two zones" that require more frequent watering. I use Rain bird ESP; like the one you are using for your video demo. Thank you for your help.

If you're using program A for all zones move the program selector to program B then:
      1. Turn the dial to Advanced Cycles and use the arrows to select Custom.
      2. Turn the dial to Set Watering Start Times and add a start time to program B that doesn't overlap the start time in program A.
      3. Turn dial to Select Days To Water and turn on the additional days you want to water. Make sure the remaining days are turned off.
      4. Turn the dial to Set Valve Run Times and add time to the two valves you want to do additional watering. Make sure the other valve times on Program B are set at zero.
      5. Turn the dial to Auto. Program B will now do the additional watering you want.

So after you set your custom cycle, do you turn the dial back to auto to activate it or do you keep the dial on advanced cycle?

Id like to set mine to water at two different intervals on the same days of the week to get a deep watering. How do I do that?

If your station run times are the same for the two intervals you could simply do two start times on a program and use the custom cycle to choose the days of the week you want to water. If you want to water different lengths of time on the same day you could put one watering time on program A and the second watering time on program B.

Great video. I've programmed (custom) 4 cycles for each day because I laid down new sod. But now I want to delete 3 cycles, but I can't figure out how. Any ideas? I shouldn't have to switch the program, I just want to delete a cycle I've set up. Thanks.

If you're watering 4 times a day on the same program and you want to just have one watering time, turn the dial to Set Watering Time and eliminate start times 2, 3, & 4.
      1. The display shows the first start time currently set for the program.
      2. Press “MANUAL START / ADVANCE” to display the next watering start time.
      3. To eliminate a watering start time: Press the Up or Down arrow until the “OFF” setting between 11:45 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. appears.
