Thanks for this. I saw this strategy used in some other guy's video but he was doing Jungle map with freeze build. I tried and got rped by Boss with 200 div cards. Mausoleum works fine.
Glad it helped! It must have been SnooBAE85's video as he's running cold ele hit, I think many of us got caught into this trap :D The strategy is not easy, I think he explains it really well but in order for it to work great you must consider quite a few things especially on macro map level :/

Thanks, man! I just finished 10 maps with the low budget strategy and I got 4 The Enlightened and 4 Imperfect Memories +over 100c from smaller cards. Gonna start the Semi-mid budget strategy now.
there is also an abyss pilfering strat, you get a boss that has between 5 and 60 cards, so significantly fewer than stronboxes one, but takes longer. You get 2 nimis cards every 25 maps or so. or every 4 hours. The only downside is that you need caster mastery that opens chests or you go insane and carpal tunnel induced (gazillion chests need to be opened)
@@PoorExile it's *a* way to go. it's RNG based, as you're fishing for thenimis card. I ran 100 maps in groups of 20 and had it drop in 4 out of 5 , but you can get unlucky and get way fewer. it was fun, though. give it a try (with caster mastery only, tho!)
Was running this strat for a few days and, while i didnt drop a nimis card at all, did drop 4 unrequited love cards at once, which paid for my nimis. Fun strat thats pretty different from standard box and div card farming

I actually quite like it. Many people have a thick accent, which normally is irrelevant, i watch videos for gameplay. But with a game like this, in an explanation video, its very nice to have something so “crisp” and clear.
Actually it depends on the strat you are running. What you've said is completely valid, but I wouldn't recommend this approach for scarab of pilfering farming as the boss might get rippy af (especially for new players). Bonus: both Jungle Valley and Mausoleum maps are kinda special, these are the only maps in which boss doesn't count as spawned until you start the fight, meaning that boss altar mods can't roll
Try using the ambush scarab of Discernment, Ive had up to 5 diviner strongbox in one map using that scarab. and usually atleast 2 diviner strongbox per map.
From my little research it shows that loot table of diviners strongbox is limited to the pool of area which is exactly what you said and what we aim for. Did you want to say that this strategy does not work for getting map div cards?
Tell me, what is the essence of farming? Why is the boss card so strong? The fact that we are trying so hard to open chests on the way to the boss, is this how they make the boss populate? Do we have to open them, or can we quickly run to the boss and kill him without touching the chests? And cards only drop from the boss, is this normal, or should they drop from chests too?
Let's break it down into few sections: - Card -> rewards you with Nimis ring, which makes your projectiles return. It's a much stronger version of Returning Projectiles because it doesn't have 60% less damage modifier and frees up additional socket. - Scarab -> consumes all divinations cards that would normally drop in the map, then when you kill a map boss all of them will drop duplicated - Card drops/strongboxes -> cards normally drop from the monsters in the map but Diviner's Strongboxes also drop them in bulk, rolling them to high quantity and additional items increases number of cards that drop. Combining it with the scarab which will duplicate all of them is going to maximize the output. - Running straight to the boss -> you shouldn't do that because the boss will contain only the cards that were dropped and consumed while killing monsters and opening strongboxes. If you simply rush to the boss you will waste the scarab completely as he will be holding 0 cards all the time. Quick summary: boss consumes all the cards that would normally drop in the map and from strongboxes duplicating them. The goal is to maximize number of divination card drops to duplicate as many as possible.
That's funny cause it's exactly what I thought. It turns out that GGG didn't change the mechanic with strongboxes and they still apply only 1% for rare tier and 2% for magic :D
I've checked the wiki and it actually might be a good idea. Exarch altars have mods with +% chance to drop div cards rewarding unique armor, weapon, item and jewellery. I need to test that 😅
normally i hate ai stuff but much like Magefist, this (hopefully) is a human written script with just ai voiceover. good quality of presentation and information
That's correct, recording, editing, writing script etc is all done by me. Only the voice itself is AI generated. At first I thought that the idea isn't that bad, but I must rethink whether AI is the way to go looking at other comments (and dislikes). I have the equipment to record just not sure about my voice
Ye, 50m shipments are broken tbh. If you can supply enough gold to make it run 24/7 you can probably get 200 divs in like 2-3 weeks especially that mirror shards are 40 div a piece.
I'm running fubguns lightning strike. Definitely poorer version than his top end, but I have mageblood and VLS dagger. But! Don't think that I wanted to scam you, with all the tips (maps rolling and map choice) you should be able to do this strat on 10-20 div budget build as all you need to kill this boss i 2 fingers to run around and attack.

Great video. Would have liked to see the high investment strat with scarabs of Containment, Potency, Hidden Compartment and Selectiveness (or whatever for rarer strongboxes). With those you can open about 5 div box per map. Obviously the bosses get that much harder so not necessarily a good idea.
I've tried something similar: 1x containment, 1x potency, 1x discernment, 1x compartments and pilfering. Best map (out of ~25) was 1500 div cards, there were few nice drops but time spent for rolling boxes increases significantly + it's good to start considering maps on macro level like getting altars first, then roll the boxes, get all shrines and rush the boss. In my opinion it was fun and required some thinking, not sure if everyone would enjoy it

i got 2 nimis cards in the first 25 maps by using divination scarab of plenty...then nothingf for the next 300 maps..i just gave up farming nimis after this

I've seen some videos from SnooBAE/Fubgun with wisp scarabs and they're busted af but I'm not sure if they would fit into this strat well. I have something in mind already for even 2 wisp scarabs, that's gonna come after build guide video/videos ;)
This is a good AI voice but you really need to double-check because sometimes there are things that should be plural or singular and you've got the misspelled and the AI voice just goes straight through it and it sounds weird

Because he doesn’t know strong boxes are NOT native mobs. NON-Native mobs dropping scrye cards are virtually zero. The nimis strat I ran I got 6 nimis cards in 100 maps. 4 apothecary in 500 maps.

@@PoorExile from my testing it seems to be true, when i did strongbox pilfering farm all i see the same 12-15 cards, lot of cards thats NOT are not scry to the map. When i did pilfering harbinger/beyond or shrine/abyss/beyond i get 2x more scry div cards and almost zero other div cards like "Fortunate" or other global cards. Thats from my experience of strictly farming div cards this whole season. do a 50 map test and let me know. Im using maven div card chisel also. i mean it could be RNG, but i didnt so many strongbox maps and got 0 nimis and MB card. but tons of gem/currency cards like u did from the video. As soon as i switch to other div card farming strat, nimis card was dropping. i had 1 streak where i got 4 nimi cards in 3 maps. my conclusion is strongbox u get a ton of div card, mostly SHIT, a huge pool of cards. none strong box strat u dont get many cards when it RNG is on your side its the scry card.

If you dont want boss altars just run Elder scarab or elder on map device if you can. Elder consumes the boss.

Doesn't blue altar generaly favour currency divs and gem divs while red altars favour unique divs? Maybe you would do better with red altars?

You can make it to the ring by simply harvesting gold from any activity of your liking within a few weeks just by sending a few 50M shipments.

So many people putting their judgments and opinions on you, to the point that you lose the sense of yourself and start living other people's lives instead of your own. Thank you for reminding me to lead with love, which is truly what I want to do in life. :)
