Boss, I leveing with Alva Temple it quite a hidden OP tech. Take all the Alva Nodes on the Atlas Scarab : Monster Lineage, x2 Incursion of Champion, Beyond and the last one is what every you like This make all the monsters in Incursion become at least Magic(Even Beyond and Delirium Monsters) and it give a shit tons of EXP. Also the Scarab is super cheap and you can always Profit from making the Temple
I could recommend one more lvling method: since I started doing Boss strategy for on-map quick content (nameless ritual fish, Nico, improved Lab inv, smuggler cache) I ended up with sh!tload of Sulphite. To not waste that Suplhite you visit Delve and you burn it going sideways at chosen depth (where you still kill mobs fast enough). If you prioritize Azurite nodes you end up printing currency (Azurite to Resonators, also from Boss strategy). This is more SSF way that works perfect without any Scarabs.
For those who want to do everything themselves i recommend running all synth maps. For me it was around 30mil xp/h while doing rotation of 4 maps. They have nice density, great layouts and often drop chisels/fossils. I was also still missing maven invitations challenge and map affix challenge so this 'strat' actualy did so many things at once. These maps also drop cortex so often that one can just sell it or run it too (i did and got 3x bottled faith in around 30 maps). Maps are super ez and its hard to rip on them even on a weak char plus you just jump from pack to pack. These basic maps cost like 11-13c in bulk so its really hard to loose money on them. I actualy got over 600 chisels alone just from that one level. Maybe its 15 hours instead of 5 but its 'playing the game' more than standing on 5ways :P
Nice guide! I will try the breach strat :) Btw you can save 2 passive points by connecting over the 2 portals in the top left and right of the tree and speccing out of the 4 connecting nodes at the top
best way to level up is to not die for sure. I couldn't level to 93 for a whole week just because every other map there is that one yellow mob with "+1000 to MS, AS, crit chance and multi, HP and ES" that destroys me. It was an issue in harvest, in essence farm, now I'm metaslaving strongboxes and finally can gain some levels
Many ways to get crit immune. If you are down left of the tree, you can get 100% crit reduction from tree. Otherwise, get 50% from chest armor corrupt, 30% from crit mastery (it's available everywhere on tree) and last 20% you can get on shield if you use one. Otherwise, 80% is still better than nothing (but you will still die from crit because 20% of 800% crit multi is still 160% extra damage).
If you can handle delve 200 stay at around that level for pretty good solo exp and just run crappy maps to top-up sulphite with the scarab. It's not a fast method but it's safe.
Heist is the most efficient low-cost, low risk leveling method (from 97 to 100), emphasis on low-cost, you can do that with a fresh start character SSF style no heavy investment limited dps, all you really need is 8 points from the top of atlas tree, the extra heist box and blueprint drop, take the map device heist craft each map, run around click everything, even if it's a white T16 map you still got plenty of contract and blueprints quick, run them white, the direct currency and div card would cover the mapping cost (with currency exchange you can liquidate quick), the exp is better than mapping, heist monsters just give more exp, I would say every 3 white contract can be about 1 4mod rare map exp wise, and any lucky item you get at the end of blueprint is profit. Oh, and huck assist you in map can be another 20% exp gain while mapping. The downside is, well it's a big one, there is no fun at all, seriously zero, most people would even find it so torturous it's a deal breaker, unless you have a mageblood or run a very fast character. Depth 200-300 delve is like that, but you don't get enough return from each nodes, most of the time you get nothing, and it's more dangerous than heist, soul eater rare in delve is a major killer, so many adds die at the same time.
If you're leveling with 5 ways and doing gems , it can be better to level them from your inventory tab so you don't accidentally click elsewhere on the map and potentially move too far.

I'll try blighted maps... Hope my device can take it. breach is out of options for me. My pc melts with the amount of enemies on the map.
Try this, add Nico nodes to your atlas, run 5-10 tier16 MAGIC/1 MOD maps to fill up your sulfite, use scour orbs to make maps white, then use a transmute orb to make it magic, then use alterations to roll a nice mod like more magic monsters or something that does give the monsters extra damage or hurt your defenses... Once you run a few maps go to delve and farm azurite to sell for resonators to sell for divines. I run orchard magic maps and delve in between to save on maps and make easy divines I did this method from 96-99 I'm about %25 through 99 so close to 100 I can taste it. Once you reach 100 you will have tonnes of currency without any jackpot drops ... I found some crazy fractured items I sold for a tonne in delve too.. Good luck.
I think the reason i dont like breach is because i made a melee lacerate chr with low aoe range. For some reason abyss did better for me. I for sure not paying like 40c an attempt for 5ways with a chr like that hehe
I'm fairly certain that if you just do '/global #' in chat to switch your global chat server, it should keep track of your selection, at least for the duration of the league I think. At least I don't recall them moving me do different servers, maybe they changed something

Once you run a few maps go to delve and farm azurite to sell for resonators to sell for divines. forgot to add use the omens of amelioration you need that, transmutes, alterations, scours, horizons and domination scarabs to sustain this method but it will be a great return on investment, pick a map with a layout that works for your build and roll it nice every time and you will feel the progress. Hey Mr poeguy. Is there a build for any character or tree that can be used. The gear will only max builds for higher tier farming and depending on what you run for gear, it could dictate the character. . But the passive tree only gets you thru chapter 10. Then you will start your gear tuning. Any help would be nice. I got too many vids under my belt... just want to know if I can do a tree build absent the gear just focus my tree strengths for my gear selection.
@poeguy been following your builds this season currently lvl 98 using shrapnel ballista and have 2209 strength, looking at my next upgrade and I have currently 150 divines. Would saving for a mageblood be best and how do you maintain strength as dropping my current belt makes me 1900 strength so I would lose 2 ballistas?

We are more than 2 months into the league and I farmed all possible content on a perfect rolled Astramentis amulet.
I would never recommend anyone to pay for 5 ways, it's counter intuitive. PoE should be able levelling up YOURSELF, as in your real person, 5 ways is paying to be dumber.

Get crit immunity and 90% block and suddenly dying becomes really difficult.
Crit cap is the biggest thing most builds ignore and something that makes you avoid questioning wtf just killed you 😂

I personally also went to 100 on my chieftain with beyond/harbinger. Consistent 35mil xp/hour, so maybe 6h from 99 to 100 while making 15+ div/hour.

For leveling I just go all in with breach (5 breach scarabs + breach on device), just set loot filter to super strict, open 3 breaches at once and go
