Seriously. I was in Chapter 6 when I realised that I missed a whole section of the New Thunderclap Temple from Chapter 3 just because I got lost without a map.

I rented the game played like 40+ hours but that was not enough i stopped playing on ch5. Just waiting for the disk edition so that i can continue or restart the new game
God damn.... I haven't touched the game for a couple of months now but thankfully completed it 4 times to unlock everything. Its gonna be hard as hell to jump back into it but..... this should be very fun. Getting all this for free really reminds me of how Monster Hunter handles its updates. Makes it well worth the price and increases my faith in the developers who truly love their creation.

Zakk I'm so excited for this update. new moves + challenge mode = testing my old skills multiple new items and equipments = new/improved builds and maps, i dont really need those, but its still cool to look at some new art pieces. I've seen some spoilers with a certain beloved (or maybe hated) boss and i cant wait for the update to be available on steam!

I like that the map matches the art style of the rest of the game. It comes across as a map that could've been drawn by people in that setting. Not all games do that.
I was in the boat where I didn't feel like a map was needed, HOWEVER the maps that Are in the game look so gd good and compliment the design of the game in every way imaginable

Right now you have to sometimes ride and walk easily 20 minutes to reach a boss. People that dont care about the open world or that have played it already alot would find much replayability in a bossrush mode.
@gorgit well kinda the purpose of game is to explore because its massive compared to more linear games, and exploration is its main part, in its devs vision, but still yeah some people might want boss rush and it might be good to have it for them.
Lies of P doesn't have enough bosses for a boss rush mode. You can run through the game only fighting bosses and it'll take you roughly 2 to 3 hours based on skill level with most of the time running through levels. Kind of pointless to have boss rush for a game who mainly just had chapter ending bosses.
As someone who tries but all too often fails to stay in touch with the happenings of certain games and / or game franchises that I love, thank you for your work, hard or otherwise you've made it as easily accessible as possible to receive such thrilling news keep up the good work man!!

I do need a map, my sense of direction is crap even in games and not having a map in this game was a nightmare. I did manage to finish it with every secret and all because I was using a guide, and even then I was struggling to navigate this game without a map because I was running in circles and getting lost. So yeah, some people do need a map and I'm one of those people.

I'm curious, have they changed the Medicine + Transformation mechanic, or is that remaining the same? To clarify, if you take medicine with a lasting effect and enter a Transformation before the effect duration is over, it's instantly lost. This is less of a hindrance for basic medicine that you can use multiple of in a fight, but for truly valuable ones like Soul Remigration, it can be crushing to make that mistake. I'm not sure if that's an intended interaction between medicine and Transformations, or if it was unintentional and just happens. But hopefully that can be changed, so effects persist throughout a Transformation.

I already finished the game with every secret and everything a first playthrough can provide, beating every boss with every achievement and all and I won't play it again because I'm not the type of player that likes playing the same game twice in New Game+, but dear god, I needed a freaking map, I'm bad at playing without a map so I'm glad they finally added it. Too bad I won't be using it since I won't be playing it but I really needed a map when I was playing.
Thanks man, great video. I was having issues where I went to fight the white dragon and he was just flying around and when I came close to him he wouldn’t even react. I had to rest in the shrine and go back for it to work. Hopefully they’ve fixed those kinds of bugs.
1. They should have fixed the input buffer for consuming the first medicine instead of making multiple medicine consumption more fluid. That bug is annoying af. 2. They should have worked on the wukong stance and made it longer than 60 sec/permanent. Apart from these, it's a good update
