Raid should have a way for us to test teams in Crypts when they are not open. I would really like to test, re-gear, retest, upgrade gear and retest while I'm not pressured in doing it all in one day when it's open. Having the ability to test your teams out can help a lot with understanding what exactly is going wrong and it allows you to see where you need to fill a gap with a stun set or something, right?
You could run a faction team in Doom Tower rooms. Ok, it's not the same enemies, but it's free / doesn't use resources and hard enough (depending on room level) to test your teams :)

26:31 You forgot to mention the aoe 30 percent turn meter depletion is insane on Aox the rememberer. He only needs accuracy to do it. No affinity issues at all. That turn meter depletion has helped me so much in spider especially during my early game days.
Glad to see the appreciation for Skimfos. He ends up in a lot of my teams when I need decrease speed and tm control. Use him in relentless and he ends up taking a lot of turns.

Had an account 2 years ago, wheere didnt know what I do, how important speed and ACC are (the game teaches you the very wrong thing, like equip 3 attack% on an Atk champ). Started a new cuz of lost login data 4 month ago and am so much more in the game than before and much of that because of you and your teachings. Some useful champs you didn't mention: - Valerie (Bannerlords): a good support unit, with buff extension and debuff decrease, heal and shield. She's a farmable rare too, so she's cheap to upgrade and pairs well with Archmage & Ursala. Lvl 50 works well for her, relentless is awesome too. - Thenasil (High Elves): good healing and increase defence. Some control (sleep). Decreasing enemy buff duration is also useful. Not a great champ but with this roster, he was really useful for me before I got Arb/Apothecary. - Klodd (Ogryn Tribes): shield, increase speed/acc, good healing - Steelskull (Skinwalkers): great healing, debuff cleanse; power crept everywhere else, still awesome for FW - Abyssal (Demonspawn): AOE A1 with block buffs, heal and small increase attack & defense. great in a stun set
@@JohnDoe-mk1qu Its a minor difference from what I understood. When time, or advanced quests may come into play, sometimes just hitting FW20 may be easier, and less gear cumbersome. My KnRev is still a 10+ min run, and unless I need to kill the boss for the quest, I'll run 20 for a 5 min run instead.
This is brilliant, thank you for this. On the High Elves, I'm still on the low end of the faction, but I was pleasantly surprised with the control that JingleHunter provided. The Freeze helped me get through the waves, even at 4/40.
When I first took down High Elves, I used a lvl 50 Tayrel, 50 Reliquary Tender, 50 Battlesage, 60 Apothecary, and Arbiter. Arbiter did the final thing clearing 21 (I had cleared 20 but not 3 stars before her). they would just heal, cleanse, and ress. and finally grind them down. I took forever but they did it. And tbh. I was amazed that 2 rares could help be so much.
Armina does awesome paired with Soulbound in Stun set, add Scyl and you have Massive waves controll with 2/5 to 5/5 stuns each turn + tons of turn meter deplete, I build mine with dmg, but frenzy set, she basicaly has 2x more turn from all those stuns, worth à try :)
very useful - i need to get my lazy ass after lydia, so its given me some great pointers especially on a few 50 sleepers that is what a lot of us need to actually progress a lot. i saw the regen comment in your sets video (which was a also excellent). Thats a top point i had not considered about keeping a 50 alive thats here for clutch support. As always many thanks for your awesome content - my paid sub of a fiver a month ( a couple of beers) is literally for all the info you have given me over the last year or so :) Keep going !!!!!

With the High Elves, you actually don't need Legendaries; Battlesage (Lead), Tayrel, Apothecary, Reliquary Tender, Elhain Elhain isn't even in a stun set and while level 20 is annoying with this team because of a Paragon forcing you to manual, level 21 can be farmed on auto.

Shout out to Gamuran for the shadow kin faction decent damage on the waves and his revive passive helped me right up to stage 21 apparently he revives one champ when the boss dies for some chees but ill confirm after the next event when i lvl6 him

Hey HH! Thanks for doing this video. I'm closing in on my Lydia with only a 5 factions left to beat (3 of which I just need to clear stage21). Over my time of playing this game I have got loads of champs but am beginning to struggle with WHO to prioritise building out to get this job done. Your list has given me a clear idea of who to focus on now and i'm happy to say I have most of them! Lydia shall be mine soon! 😁
Three callouts for me: Valla-her a2 will strip shields before she attacks, something to think about when facing Valkyrie or Krisk; Executioner- a2 has an aoe turn meter drop, put him in a Taunt set, with his a3 active (counterattack) and he can stun with his a1; Chani- A1 poison sensitivity, hard hitting a2 with hp burn, a3 can extend debuffs on the enemy. These abilities should not be underrated.
ive gotten to the epic book in most crypts thanks to random teams so this video will be a life saver to take me to the end of these factions and finally getting Lydia. now i just have to hope i pull some of the diamonds in the ruff.
Great guide, you missed one quite crucial element: which skills the red boss has... E.g.: sacred order you can control the turn meter, another boss (knights Rev comes to mind) requires a complete different set up
Scyl can carry your Barbarian team alone. Barbarians were first faction for me that was closed and Scyl was only one on lv 60 in decent Relentles set. All others were on lv 50. Second most important champ in my team was (unbooked and without any masteries ) Woad-Painted. Rests were High Kathun, Warmaiden and last is whoever you want.

Great vid, as always :-) Fun fact: Sleep/Stun sets works with Ironcald's passive ability, that makes him a bit more useful, however it sounds better on paper than it works in game. It works best in combination with a thick shield from a teammate and Vrask as a healer.
Been playing for just little over a week and I've been looking for content like this, so helpful! Also I only have a couple of leggos and mostly rare and epics really, so I'm thankful you talked about lower tier champions who still can do it just fine
For Dark Elf FWs, there's a really good hack that people don't know about. Any three CC champs. (Visix, Luria, Psylar, Stun set Lua, Cold Heart, Crimson Helm .... there are quite a few) And lastly, the two main champs. Double Pain Keeper (lvl 50 works as well) (high HP and as fast as possible..... 230ish on both is very good.) Visix/Psylar/Luria keep the waves pinned. CH TM controls the stragglers. The two PKs keep resetting everyone and each other. You get all CC abilities on a 2 turn cooldown (Total wave control if you're over 200 speed). At the boss, you also get a smacking heal from each PK when at the boss alternating every two turns or so. Lua and CH control the boss 100%. Boss doesn't get a turn. It's a bit of a slow run. around 6-8 mins as you don't have any decrease def or damage increase. But it's such a cake walk.
I was struggling with dark elves FW21 and pulled a Truath and built him, easily finished the stage with full health for everyone. Super strong support champion, excited to try him in hydra next
great tuto, the only thing I miss here is estimated gear/stats requirements - what speed to aim at (it is obvious to go as fast as possible, but even great gear has it's limitations), what def to aim at, and especially what accuracy - is it around 150/200/250 for lvls 14-21. Then it would be an ultimate 10/10. anyway great job, very helpful 9.5/10 ;)
Two things, I'm surprised you didn't talk on how it may be best for peeps to manual waves and bosses. Clanmate was on a FW stage that they couldn't 3 star on auto, and never even tried to manual it. Asked them to try manual, and they got the 3 star. For Shadowkin, don't sleep on the Epic Kunoichi for AOE leach, and Odachi for block debuffs from the rares. Those two, with Ninja, Hotatsu & Burangiri were how I got my Lydia. SK FW21 boss is a pain. Still no Toragi or another Leggo from the bunch to improve that team for me. I can farm FW21 on auto now, but not with the entire team alive at the end.
I've got to put some love towards Castigator, rare from Sacred Order - I put him in reflex and he was extremely good for FWs and got me over the line to 3 star it!
Hades - I'll be first to admit that in many areas, Canoness is not a go to champ, I know, I built one on my alt so I had a leech champ till I got alternatives like Ghrush (and then Helicath to not even need that). But you drastically underestimate her kit for faction wars. Her A1 is kinda nothing unless it RNG buffs an ATK champ, but every 2 turns she puts ally protection on a champion - usually smart enough to go for whoever is weakest and in need, and puts increase DEF on them, and despite the wording - puts it on herself as well, plus her continuous heal. But more key, is that she is DEF based, so that A3 buffs her damage - and then her A2 not only places Leech and Decrease Accuracy - which can be very important on boss rooms - but is an automatic critical hit every time (your site info is out of date on that). And her multipliers on damage are higher than some of the Lego's if your site is accurate like Helior (and I just ran her in my dragon 20 team with him to look - she's at times hitting harder than him when he's at 185 C.DMG and she's under 100 in whatever gear I had the last time I geared her). Honestly - if she were to just get a stat boost - namely speed cause 89 is just bad, and something more useful on her A1 than RNG increase ATK 50%, she'd likely be more top tier for FW, and maybe have some more use elsewhere. Likewise with Juliana and Romero - their kits, especially together, are actually pretty good - the only thing is really that yeah - they have skills outdated compared to newer champs. Juliana drop her turn meter fill, drop her C.Rate increase, and put her A2 to a 3 turn CD and her A3 to 4 turns (3 would be great, but maybe asking a bit much) - she can fit back in to CB speed tunes with ease, with 100% up time on her poisons (as long as you build the C.Rate) and if she's a 4/3 champ in the tune (if they don't just make the A3 also 3 turns) can strip affinity CB's buff while placing HP burn. Romero really just needs better CD's, maybe a couple minor tweaks to his skills. But even as is, especially when low on options - still solid enough.
So far I've only managed to complete 2 faction crypts: high elves and barbarians. With questionable teams 😂 Elhain, Apothecary, Reliquary Tender, Tayrel, and Tatura (indeed a hard carry). High Khatun, Warmaiden, Shieldguard, Armina, and Scyl (also a hard carry). I will definitely look at this video to figure out my other faction teams. I have a ton of unbuilt epics and legendaries. It's hard to know which ones to prioritize (low spender, so building a single champ is very time and resource consuming)
Hades you played wow during burning crusade, right? Durn the Hungerer was a massive son of Gruul cyclops in Nagrand, it took a group for the quest. Im never going to read Duhr the Hungerer correctly haha
Lydia is worth to summon on every 10x to collect epics that will help you complete the faction wars, just the epics because if you are lucky you can get in 20 ancients 1 or 2 epics and little by little you get the specific epics you need. Unless you are unlucky like me sometimes it took 170 ancients to get Seeker the last piece for my Maneater comp, it has paid he's weight overtime but I was mad it took that long to get a 10x epic
Have to disagree about Armina. I only have her at 40, no books, and she’s really good. She takes Turn after turn after turn. Pair her with a couple of stunners and she will do her best energizer bunny imitation. My Barbarian faction has Scyl( in Relentless) and Soulbond in a stun set and Armina just keeps taking turns.
Let me humbly suggest Flesh Tearer and Snorting Thug for SW FW. FT has buff extension on a heal, and he has debuff extension on an enemy buff deplete. His problem is his speed. Thug is all about stealing buffs from your enemies: he even does this on his passive and A1. Great against most buff-heavy waves.
In the same boat, just those 2 bosses to go, no reviver for either faction. I think I'll get through the dwarves next time it's open, Rearguard and Connelia for heals and Geo with the big TM steal. Shadowkin I think I need to pull Toragi or Kinagashi (or a leggo), Hotatsu is trying but the Continuous Heal being for only 1 turn isn't nearly enough.
@@GamingwithJael i mean i have kyoku. who tbh is a great protector. i think i can cheese shadowkin with an unleveled uncommon and build up a sachi so she can hopefully revive the uncommon before the boss and i can use kyoku to hopefully keep him alive long enough to kill the boss. (boss wont do the stun,fear if it has a target it thinks it can kill)
@@markoperatv yeah i have kyoku so i think if i build up sachi i can cheese the boss with an unleveled uncommon. dont have revivers for dwarves but i think i can make it work by making some more of them 6 star. i just hate champion training so i try to get by with a bunch of 5 stars xd
Almost done w/ FW and I've been playing on my main F2P for about 1 1/2 years. I got unlucky w/ my barb pulls, but got 3 stars w/ scyl (relentless), shieldguard (close to 200% cd) lvl 60, armina lvl 50, elder skaarg lvl 50 w/ high hp & acc, and sentinel lvl 50 w/ full crit for his passive heal (didn't need him w/ books or even high enough acc). Also for lizards, I think that cagebound & maybe even bogwalker gets overlooked.

I need 6 stars to finish all but Shadow Kin and I struggle. If you're saying that I can't do it without certain specific champs, I can live with that, but I would like to believe that there are different solutions to various challenges Anycase, love your stuff man
For Barbarians Raf-Matab has been really strong for me. He and Scyl (I don't have her yet) could probably carry a whole team of decently built rares pretty easily.
Has anyone been buying the Ghost offers this week? I bought Mon, Tues, and Wednesday. Didn't care for today :) I hope Friday is good. I want more Lego or Epic books, 5 star chickens and Void or Gold shards.

I used the team suggestion tool quite heavily to get it done. One thing that would be nice to know is if the team hit 3*. It’s one of those places where 100% win is less important than just how likely you are to grab max stars. Obviously speed etc is more important when you come to farm it.
It's hard to predict if something can 3 star. A lot depends on the builds that you have on champions and what order they go in. For some lvl's it may take a few tries to get a 3 star (looking at you dark elves). I've done plenty of the factions with just epics and often making it 3 star was just a matter of slowing someone down or swapping an atk% chest with a hp% chest etc. You can put in all the best champs, if you don't use them right you will never 3 star anything. So even if something fails, it's often better to take a good look at what makes it fail instead of building another champ only to fail again as you may not have solved the actual problem.
@@capusvacans I was wondering if that was available from the data for the optimizer tool. Now I have Lydia I really don't mind if I do my farm with 3* or 1*. I did tweak the teams and like you say some like Dark Elves were easy to beat but a nightmare to get a 3* on. Others like Skinwalkers were just a pain in the butt because I simply didn't have a workable team for even a 1*. If the optimizer could let you filter by teams that won with 3* that would be an amazing addition for FW building. I did end up building out one or two champs I regret as although they enabled a winning team, they didn't really pan out for a 3* team with the gear I had.
Undead hoard was giving me absolute fits then I used my CB seeker and a level 1 champ in stone skin gear and was able to nuke down the boss before the 3rd turn of stone skin.
You should mention uncommons as well - Shieldguard and Zephr Sniper for barbs, Armiger from Sacred Order, Satyr from Skinwalkers, Commander in Banner Lords btw, Pitiless One is not bad at all))) also Painkeeper is great for heals, I gave her like 100k hp and she can fully heal my squishy Coldhearts
Skinwalkers i personally give shout out to Lamb used two of these guys cause i didn't have steelskull worked perfectly of course 21 needed to be manual but went pretty easy with 3 rares and 2 epics.
barbarians was really easy after you get scyl. i had scyl 6 starred and only his revive booked, made her super fast, then put in 5 star soulbound bowyer in a stun set, also super fast and only using A1 except on bosses. then with that i had a 5 star warmaiden and 5 star high kathun. last champ was the fatman at 6 star, but build for clanboss at low speed and no defensive or hp stats (unkillable cb team). the other easy faction was high elves, tho i used three 6 stars in there, arbiter, royal guard and tatura. with that i had 5 star deliana and alexander (so actually 3 free legendaries). i also completed dwarves, knight revenant, dark elves, sacred order and demonspawn but i had those factions stacked with good champs at 6 star.
Ive suddenly hit a point where I am starting to flood with books and finally finish champs that have been just sitting in my vault and I am blowing thru faction wars
For new players and especially f2p would really appreciate if you could share or advice some champions that is achievable at early game (probably within rare and epic - coz its a lil bit impossible to get epic or legendary in early days 🤷) for faction wars. If there is some gpod rare that could you know carry you through as far as it can till u get these mid/end championships.
Tbh what I think of faction wars is you NEED 1 or 2 revive champs these revive champs need to have heals or buffs which help you survive longer also you need good immortal and Regen gear or relentless the other 3 champions you need to have a turn meter control Champion, a tank which will put provokes , stuns etc the other 1 needs to be a damage dealer OR a cool down increase champion if you already have a damage dealer and I feel like people don't realize how good the increase cool down skills are in faction wars but the champions who have this kind of skill are voids or leggos and voids which are hard to find

It's a nice video idea to have all the fw in one place. However I don't know if it's actually that helpful. I feel each fw needs more info rather than highlighting the champs. if we can see the way the champs are getting used and why it's more usefull. Like alot of what I've found going over the fw is not only choosing the champions that fill the roles it's actually making sure whatever the reason you chose them, you actually build them to do that job specifically. As well as working out how to use them to take the bosses. Do I need to control the side ads, do I need to nuke down the boss, do I need to just survive it out. Ect
Was good to listen about each hero in the back ground and what they can bring, but as each faction boss is kind of different I wouldn't call this a guide maybe do a series inside the game on each faction last boss, should make some good content. Keep up the good work
I am so close to Lydia now. I just have half of them 3 stared, and the other 1 star or need to beat 21. But I will say this. Putting Basher and Norog together is freaking annoyance for the anyone they face. Both have block Debuffs, Norog Block Active Skill, and Bashers reduces coo ldowns. You can imagine. My only problem is that I don't have a nuker in Skinwalkers. My only one is Cleo
What happened to the old excel for FW, that been updated somewhere? I used it to initially get some progress with my limited pool, now that there are more options etc, would be great to use again

The rare Guardian deserves a mention because of his utility for the Valk waves in lvl 21 Knight Rev. It seems to be his sole purpose.

I ran a level 40 Valerie in my banner lords 21 team and she does work.
Finished my faction war just couple of days ago. My last faction was skinwalkers. Now my aim is to make floor 21 auto packs for all the factions.
Congratz! Isnt the chance of getting lvl 5 and 6 glyphs the same for stage 20 and 21? So making auto teams for 20 is probably easier.

Hey HH! Thanks for doing this video. I'm closing in on my Lydia with only a 5 factions left to beat (3 of which I just need to clear stage21). Over my time of playing this game I have got loads of champs but am beginning to struggle with WHO to prioritise building out to get this job done. Your list has given me a clear idea of who to focus on now and i'm happy to say I have most of them! Lydia shall be mine soon! 😁
you could do one video per faction!! showing gear and synergy actually go through the factions when they are open?...
Three callouts for me: Valla-her a2 will strip shields before she attacks, something to think about when facing Valkyrie or Krisk; Executioner- a2 has an aoe turn meter drop, put him in a Taunt set, with his a3 active (counterattack) and he can stun with his a1; Chani- A1 poison sensitivity, hard hitting a2 with hp burn, a3 can extend debuffs on the enemy. These abilities should not be underrated.
ive gotten to the epic book in most crypts thanks to random teams so this video will be a life saver to take me to the end of these factions and finally getting Lydia. now i just have to hope i pull some of the diamonds in the ruff.
great guide thanks - about halfway to Lydia in terms of stars achieved, but this is where the difficulty really ramps up!
Great guide, you missed one quite crucial element: which skills the red boss has... E.g.: sacred order you can control the turn meter, another boss (knights Rev comes to mind) requires a complete different set up
Scyl can carry your Barbarian team alone. Barbarians were first faction for me that was closed and Scyl was only one on lv 60 in decent Relentles set. All others were on lv 50. Second most important champ in my team was (unbooked and without any masteries ) Woad-Painted. Rests were High Kathun, Warmaiden and last is whoever you want.

Great vid, as always :-) Fun fact: Sleep/Stun sets works with Ironcald's passive ability, that makes him a bit more useful, however it sounds better on paper than it works in game. It works best in combination with a thick shield from a teammate and Vrask as a healer.

On Lizards, I just finished 21 and Quargan and Jareg at 50 were HUGE. Both were integral at getting through the lizard faction.
For Dark Elf FWs, there's a really good hack that people don't know about.
Any three CC champs. (Visix, Luria, Psylar, Stun set Lua, Cold Heart, Crimson Helm .... there are quite a few)
And lastly, the two main champs. Double Pain Keeper (lvl 50 works as well) (high HP and as fast as possible..... 230ish on both is very good.)
Visix/Psylar/Luria keep the waves pinned.
CH TM controls the stragglers.
The two PKs keep resetting everyone and each other. You get all CC abilities on a 2 turn cooldown (Total wave control if you're over 200 speed).
At the boss, you also get a smacking heal from each PK when at the boss alternating every two turns or so. Lua and CH control the boss 100%. Boss doesn't get a turn.
It's a bit of a slow run. around 6-8 mins as you don't have any decrease def or damage increase.
But it's such a cake walk.

I was struggling with dark elves FW21 and pulled a Truath and built him, easily finished the stage with full health for everyone. Super strong support champion, excited to try him in hydra next

the only thing I miss here is estimated gear/stats requirements - what speed to aim at (it is obvious to go as fast as possible, but even great gear has it's limitations), what def to aim at, and especially what accuracy - is it around 150/200/250 for lvls 14-21. Then it would be an ultimate 10/10.

Two things, I'm surprised you didn't talk on how it may be best for peeps to manual waves and bosses. Clanmate was on a FW stage that they couldn't 3 star on auto, and never even tried to manual it. Asked them to try manual, and they got the 3 star. For Shadowkin, don't sleep on the Epic Kunoichi for AOE leach, and Odachi for block debuffs from the rares. Those two, with Ninja, Hotatsu & Burangiri were how I got my Lydia. SK FW21 boss is a pain. Still no Toragi or another Leggo from the bunch to improve that team for me. I can farm FW21 on auto now, but not with the entire team alive at the end.
I've got to put some love towards Castigator, rare from Sacred Order - I put him in reflex and he was extremely good for FWs and got me over the line to 3 star it!

Hades - I'll be first to admit that in many areas, Canoness is not a go to champ, I know, I built one on my alt so I had a leech champ till I got alternatives like Ghrush (and then Helicath to not even need that). But you drastically underestimate her kit for faction wars. Her A1 is kinda nothing unless it RNG buffs an ATK champ, but every 2 turns she puts ally protection on a champion - usually smart enough to go for whoever is weakest and in need, and puts increase DEF on them, and despite the wording - puts it on herself as well, plus her continuous heal. But more key, is that she is DEF based, so that A3 buffs her damage - and then her A2 not only places Leech and Decrease Accuracy - which can be very important on boss rooms - but is an automatic critical hit every time (your site info is out of date on that). And her multipliers on damage are higher than some of the Lego's if your site is accurate like Helior (and I just ran her in my dragon 20 team with him to look - she's at times hitting harder than him when he's at 185 C.DMG and she's under 100 in whatever gear I had the last time I geared her). Honestly - if she were to just get a stat boost - namely speed cause 89 is just bad, and something more useful on her A1 than RNG increase ATK 50%, she'd likely be more top tier for FW, and maybe have some more use elsewhere.
Likewise with Juliana and Romero - their kits, especially together, are actually pretty good - the only thing is really that yeah - they have skills outdated compared to newer champs. Juliana drop her turn meter fill, drop her C.Rate increase, and put her A2 to a 3 turn CD and her A3 to 4 turns (3 would be great, but maybe asking a bit much) - she can fit back in to CB speed tunes with ease, with 100% up time on her poisons (as long as you build the C.Rate) and if she's a 4/3 champ in the tune (if they don't just make the A3 also 3 turns) can strip affinity CB's buff while placing HP burn. Romero really just needs better CD's, maybe a couple minor tweaks to his skills. But even as is, especially when low on options - still solid enough.
So far I've only managed to complete 2 faction crypts: high elves and barbarians. With questionable teams 😂
Elhain, Apothecary, Reliquary Tender, Tayrel, and Tatura (indeed a hard carry).
High Khatun, Warmaiden, Shieldguard, Armina, and Scyl (also a hard carry).
I will definitely look at this video to figure out my other faction teams. I have a ton of unbuilt epics and legendaries. It's hard to know which ones to prioritize (low spender, so building a single champ is very time and resource consuming)

Hades you played wow during burning crusade, right? Durn the Hungerer was a massive son of Gruul cyclops in Nagrand, it took a group for the quest. Im never going to read Duhr the Hungerer correctly haha
Lydia is worth to summon on every 10x to collect epics that will help you complete the faction wars, just the epics because if you are lucky you can get in 20 ancients 1 or 2 epics and little by little you get the specific epics you need. Unless you are unlucky like me sometimes it took 170 ancients to get Seeker the last piece for my Maneater comp, it has paid he's weight overtime but I was mad it took that long to get a 10x epic
I've got my Taurus in Regen and Immortal set with high HP, he then needs like 2 turns to be back at 100% health so he keeps himself alive
Have to disagree about Armina. I only have her at 40, no books, and she’s really good. She takes Turn after turn after turn. Pair her with a couple of stunners and she will do her best energizer bunny imitation. My Barbarian faction has Scyl( in Relentless) and Soulbond in a stun set and Armina just keeps taking turns.
I may be a newer player but I think Azure is extremely undervalued for his skill set
Let me humbly suggest Flesh Tearer and Snorting Thug for SW FW. FT has buff extension on a heal, and he has debuff extension on an enemy buff deplete. His problem is his speed. Thug is all about stealing buffs from your enemies: he even does this on his passive and A1. Great against most buff-heavy waves.
right on time. i basically just need to 3 star stage 21 dwarves & shadowkin. don't really have a reviver for either which makes it harder
21 on Shadowkin is horrible. Kinagashi helped me get through. It seems they are all so hard to keep alive. Do you have any defense based champs?
In the same boat, just those 2 bosses to go, no reviver for either faction. I think I'll get through the dwarves next time it's open, Rearguard and Connelia for heals and Geo with the big TM steal. Shadowkin I think I need to pull Toragi or Kinagashi (or a leggo), Hotatsu is trying but the Continuous Heal being for only 1 turn isn't nearly enough.
@@GamingwithJael i mean i have kyoku. who tbh is a great protector. i think i can cheese shadowkin with an unleveled uncommon and build up a sachi so she can hopefully revive the uncommon before the boss and i can use kyoku to hopefully keep him alive long enough to kill the boss. (boss wont do the stun,fear if it has a target it thinks it can kill)
@@markoperatv yeah i have kyoku so i think if i build up sachi i can cheese the boss with an unleveled uncommon. dont have revivers for dwarves but i think i can make it work by making some more of them 6 star. i just hate champion training so i try to get by with a bunch of 5 stars xd

Almost done w/ FW and I've been playing on my main F2P for about 1 1/2 years. I got unlucky w/ my barb pulls, but got 3 stars w/ scyl (relentless), shieldguard (close to 200% cd) lvl 60, armina lvl 50, elder skaarg lvl 50 w/ high hp & acc, and sentinel lvl 50 w/ full crit for his passive heal (didn't need him w/ books or even high enough acc).
Also for lizards, I think that cagebound & maybe even bogwalker gets overlooked.
As a FTP I'll be comming back to this video for every faction I need to beat. Thanks for the Guide! really helpfull!
Hey Hades, I don't wanne tread and trample all over your show here, but I was hoping you'd tell us a little more about WHAT you need in the crypts n stead of whom... I need 6 stars to finish all but Shadow Kin and I struggle. If you're saying that I can't do it without certain specific champs, I can live with that, but I would like to believe that there are different solutions to various challenges

I used the team suggestion tool quite heavily to get it done. One thing that would be nice to know is if the team hit 3*. It’s one of those places where 100% win is less important than just how likely you are to grab max stars. Obviously speed etc is more important when you come to farm it.
It's hard to predict if something can 3 star. A lot depends on the builds that you have on champions and what order they go in. For some lvl's it may take a few tries to get a 3 star (looking at you dark elves).
I've done plenty of the factions with just epics and often making it 3 star was just a matter of slowing someone down or swapping an atk% chest with a hp% chest etc.
You can put in all the best champs, if you don't use them right you will never 3 star anything. So even if something fails, it's often better to take a good look at what makes it fail instead of building another champ only to fail again as you may not have solved the actual problem.

Now I have Lydia I really don't mind if I do my farm with 3* or 1*. I did tweak the teams and like you say some like Dark Elves were easy to beat but a nightmare to get a 3* on.
Others like Skinwalkers were just a pain in the butt because I simply didn't have a workable team for even a 1*.
If the optimizer could let you filter by teams that won with 3* that would be an amazing addition for FW building.
I did end up building out one or two champs I regret as although they enabled a winning team, they didn't really pan out for a 3* team with the gear I had.

Undead hoard was giving me absolute fits then I used my CB seeker and a level 1 champ in stone skin gear and was able to nuke down the boss before the 3rd turn of stone skin.

Skinwalkers i personally give shout out to Lamb used two of these guys cause i didn't have steelskull worked perfectly of course 21 needed to be manual but went pretty easy with 3 rares and 2 epics.
Just wanted to mention Sir Artimage in Banner Lords. Mad Capper did a video on him, the guy does decent damage.
Ursine icecrusher for aura & passive along w/ Norog passive is a good combo for skinwalker

barbarians was really easy after you get scyl. i had scyl 6 starred and only his revive booked, made her super fast, then put in 5 star soulbound bowyer in a stun set, also super fast and only using A1 except on bosses. then with that i had a 5 star warmaiden and 5 star high kathun. last champ was the fatman at 6 star, but build for clanboss at low speed and no defensive or hp stats (unkillable cb team).
the other easy faction was high elves, tho i used three 6 stars in there, arbiter, royal guard and tatura. with that i had 5 star deliana and alexander (so actually 3 free legendaries).
i also completed dwarves, knight revenant, dark elves, sacred order and demonspawn but i had those factions stacked with good champs at 6 star.

High Elves team i literally just beat FW with: Apothecary, Reliquary Tender, Deliana, Arbiter and Vergis. long fight, never any danger of dying lmao
For new players and especially f2p would really appreciate if you could share or advice some champions that is achievable at early game (probably within rare and epic - coz its a lil bit impossible to get epic or legendary in early days 🤷) for faction wars. If there is some gpod rare that could you know carry you through as far as it can till u get these mid/end championships.

Tbh what I think of faction wars is you NEED 1 or 2 revive champs these revive champs need to have heals or buffs which help you survive longer also you need good immortal and Regen gear or relentless the other 3 champions you need to have a turn meter control Champion, a tank which will put provokes , stuns etc the other 1 needs to be a damage dealer OR a cool down increase champion if you already have a damage dealer and I feel like people don't realize how good the increase cool down skills are in faction wars but the champions who have this kind of skill are voids or leggos and voids which are hard to find
For Orcs Grohak and Thuak the Wanderer together are a great combo for turn meter control
Nice overview. A bit long but needed to be to touch on all factions. Would really like to see shorter more indepth vids on each faction. How to build teams and gear champs especially to beat top levels.
It's a nice video idea to have all the fw in one place. However I don't know if it's actually that helpful. I feel each fw needs more info rather than highlighting the champs. if we can see the way the champs are getting used and why it's more usefull. Like alot of what I've found going over the fw is not only choosing the champions that fill the roles it's actually making sure whatever the reason you chose them, you actually build them to do that job specifically. As well as working out how to use them to take the bosses. Do I need to control the side ads, do I need to nuke down the boss, do I need to just survive it out. Ect

Was good to listen about each hero in the back ground and what they can bring, but as each faction boss is kind of different I wouldn't call this a guide maybe do a series inside the game on each faction last boss, should make some good content. Keep up the good work

I am so close to Lydia now. I just have half of them 3 stared, and the other 1 star or need to beat 21. But I will say this. Putting Basher and Norog together is freaking annoyance for the anyone they face. Both have block Debuffs, Norog Block Active Skill, and Bashers reduces coo ldowns. You can imagine. My only problem is that I don't have a nuker in Skinwalkers. My only one is Cleo
What happened to the old excel for FW, that been updated somewhere? I used it to initially get some progress with my limited pool, now that there are more options etc, would be great to use again
